A.J. Jewell, Ex-Fiance of Kandi Burruss, Killed in Bar Fight

The former fiance of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss was killed after suffering a severe head injury during a fight outside an Atlanta strip club Friday night.
"It appears he was involved in an altercation in the parking lot and he received a severe blow to the head," said Atlanta Police Lt. Keith Meadows.
Jewell often appeared on the Bravo reality show, clashing with his fiancee's mother. On her Twitter page, Burruss reacted to the tragedy by writing:
im just in one of those moods where i dont wanna talk, i dont wanna b held & told its gonna b ok. i just wanna cry myself 2 sleep, alone.
I could never n a million years imagine this happening. please pray for AJ's children. that's who im the most concerned 4.
Kandi, who was part of the former girl group Xtreme, has received support from her co-stars. NeNe Leakes Tweeted: "RIP AJ from the real housewives of Atlanta! My thoughts & prayers r with Kandi, his children & family;" while Kim Zolciak added:
"please Pray for my dear friend Kandi and her loss.I adored AJ and he will be misssed dearly"
** UPDATE: Fredrick Richardson has been charged with voluntary manslaughter in Jewell's death.

RIP AJ, I hope his soul is with the Lord; let's also remember, however, that Kandi's mother was against their marriage. Nothing prevails like a mother's prayers for her child. God heard her mother's prayers and took that man out of her life. It's just tragic it was in the form of death.

Kandi, my thoughts and prayers for you, the children and family will be lifted tonight. You are a strong woman, but know that its okay to be weak right now. We are allowed a time to grieve.I'd like to share something with you that has gotten me through some very hard times.

I am a huge fan of the show. I was saddened to hear of the passing of AJ. My heart goes out to all. Kandi appears to be a pillar of strength but even pillars can be shaken. I hope Kandi's mom is not feeling additional guilt. As a mom of grown children I disagreed with her putting too much of her $.02 in regarding her daughter's choices. Although, I understand how hard it is for a mom to want only the best for her children. I just hope his passing doesn't cause her additional pain. Again, my deepest sympathy to Kandi, AJ's family and children and all he knew and loved him!

Kandi I am so sorry for your loss. Don't give up on God. He had a reason for putting AJ in your life. We may never know all of his reasons. I don't know your or AJ's story but I believe that AJ's children needed you and God brought him into your life so that they would have you and you would have them. Hold your head up. Life must go on for you and your children. And please tell mom that she should not feel guilty. She only wanted what's best for her daughter. It wasn't the baby mommas that her intuition warned her about. It was the pain and tragedy of what was to come. She loves you as any mother would and wants to protect you. God bless you.

Kandi - my condolences to you and AJ's family. What a tragedy and I hope those who are responsible will be punished to the full extent. My prayers are with you in your time of need. I don't know you or AJ, but you both seemed like a cute couple and it was very heartbreaking to see your mom put him through so much.
