I pray for her as we all should. mental illness can be triggered at different stages at life. It can happen to anyone so please no comments towards jokes this could be someone in your family. God will help her she is not alone.

Damn that hurts me so much to watch that. Who the hell are these people around her man? Mia that I knew was always beautiful inside and out despite her issues. I know there is more for her than this. Not the fame or the money,but just some kind of peace for her soul. I pray that she will find it before it is to late. Blessings to you baby girl.

She could get better if she would take her medications and go to her therapies. She'll get better when she decides to do the right thing. I do not sympathize with her, because she has the resources to better herself. You're all saying that someone needs to help her, when she first needs to help herself.

I have a question. I've read articles saying that maia campbell is bipolar. If she won't take her medications and go to her meetings, why is that everyone is making her out to be a victim and blaming others for her problems? Is it because she is a beautiful actress? You can't help someone that will not help themselves. I have a half-sister who is bipolar. She had mood swings, she got discharged from the army, because of the disorder, her mother died and she tried to kill herself. Because of this, she was instatutionalized. She is out now, she takes her medications and she goes to her therapy. She is doing all that she is supposed to do. In her darkest hours, she never turned to drugs or prostitution. People tried to help her but until she could admit her problem and accept the help she was given I don't know where my sister would be. I am grateful that she took the help offered to her.

I don't know her but we need to pray for her and her family. It is obvious that she has a mental condition that needs to be treated. Those who are taking advantage of her by either selling her drugs and/or or videotaping her need prayer as well. All of us who have seen the video need to be praying her strength to overcome this addiction.

I know that you are hurt by them, but of course uneducated people often want to stand out, and lashing out on you makes them feel good. However, don't worry about them, because I see your future, and I see a recovery, one that is going to make you follow your mother's foot steps to write a book. Stay away from, those three people who say they care, because as I see it...they don't. You often say you are a strong black woman, but your past keeps you from believing it, and you want to change, but often say f&^%k it, because the damage is done; however, I see two results: 1- if you decide to get into the red car, you will find that your demise has again lead you to a heap of trouble
2- If you decide to do that one thing you have been contemplating, you will see changes, but of course a lot of dissappointments, and if you stay true and committed you will see a lot good things coming your way. I hope you change your attitude, and take a step for change!!!

Well now yaw can see that this type of shit could happen to anyone, even celebs. So now everyboby's saying "help her, help her" she ain't the only drug addict in the streets. Help them all is what I think, I see this shit all the time and I don't think she should get special treatment because she was on TV. She and all the rest of them need our support, so if it takes nigga's filming her to help others realize that this type of shit is happening everyday in the ghetto, then so be it.
