The loss of a MOTHER is hard, let alone being coupled with a mental illness and drug abuse and/or addiction. Throughout all she still spoke of the Lord and her church (family). She did not forget them and she is not forgotten. Maia will be in my thoughts and my prayers.

Yes, she does need help. What you don't know is that this happened three or four weeks ago, and she tried to steal the car she was sitting in, used the most foul words to express herself and had already upset all the people involved.

Oh my God! Today is the 25th of Sept and I 'just' found out about this. I've seen Maia before and she is such a lovely girl. It saddened me to hear about this and I pray to God that someone gets help for her. This is just devastaging. And yes, I agree that whoever that exploitative 'jerk' is that is filming her grows a conscience one day. This is NOT funny in the slightest and really touched my heart. She is definitely in my prayers. God help this Child of God.

watching this video, Really hurt, i was one of the millions of people who watched that show, and video's! Its sad how drugs can turn someones whole world upside down, and the mf's who videortapped her is wrong, they were just laughing and egging her own! What I want to know is everyone is on here saying how they're going to pray for her but if she wasnt maia campbell wouold you still pray for her. Would you even bother looking at this video! Its sad to say but this world is full of people who dont care about each other. It shouldnt be a surprise to anyone! wow, where is her family at a time like this? How longhas this being goin on? Well can i can do is pray for her and those out there who are strugglin through the same thing. In the house was one of my favorite shoows back in the day, i would never miss it. She is such a beautiful women and it just saddens me that she is going through something like this. All in all it has taught me a lesson to try to over come the obtacles in my like cause they are people out there who are going to obstacles surround by fire, and mine is nothing compared to theres.

I agree- the guy that is filming this should be "outed" for being a complete amoral asshole. I felt bead watching it :( My brother in law is schizophrenic and it does remind me of him in a way :( -- And the guys who drove the car? - This poor girl needs some real friends. I think it is digustiong that people disregard people and their problems the way they do! Whether it be because of her mental illness or grugs, mother's death or all 3, someone needs to help her. Where is her biolgical dad or her stpe dad.? Where are her friends? These guys are just using her for her sex because they know when a womanis strung out she will do anything for her next fix. This is sad as hell asn I dont want to hear that she had a choice because we dont know what drove her to this. It just took the wrong person and the wrong time! MY God please help her for yousaid no weapons. Bring the right peoeple in her life even though it will be a fight, nothing is to hard for you to fix. Thank you Jesus- Amen!

Since this video aired, Maia's family had her placed in a rehab facilities. Praise the Lord! My prayers go out to her and her family. May she finds the strenght to get rid of her demons!

My heart breaks for her. It is abundantly obvious that she is impaired by something...drugs, mental illness or what have you. I too get a good laugh out of good humor. THIS WAS NOT HUMOROUS it was disgusting and those brothers should be ashamed of themselves. The more they egged her on the more agitated she got. Then they had the nerve to get upset. What fools. I hope someone close to her sees this and can help her get back to the beautiful girl she is.
