I don't see the humor either of a person vid taping someone who is strung out. Maia is apparently in serious need of help. We need to really lift her up in prayer. God can restore. I pray that someone will reach out to her quickly. We all have sinned and fallen short...one sin is not greater than the other. Lift her up in prayer people. Be careful least you fall. Dont laugh at her.

I feel so sad for her. Such a beautiful woman...so talented and gone to waste. I agree with the other comments. Shame on the camera boy who thinks that this is funny. How hateful are our black men that find it amusing in everyway to help bring their Black sisters down. They should be trying to help uplift us even when we are not able to lift ourselves up! I have seen the video of Maia on YouTube and it is sad. I know that her mother is just turning in her grave from how people are exploiting her baby girl. If anyone of any type of substance has read Bebe Campbell Moore's book 72 Hour Hold, then you would know it is about Maia. It's amazing how people are able to laugh at people with mental illness. This is not funny at all. Maia is having issues right now and people do not need to exploit her. My aunt and two cousins have a mental illness also. So this story has touches me a lot. Instead of humilating her, help her! People in this state of mind don't ask for help at time, it just needs to be done. All of her former co-workers and associates of the dramatic guild need to reach out, find her and help. I know that with other actors and actresses out there have nervous break downs and other issues are being help, she desrves that same help. Please stop makin fun of her and help.

They say she's struggled with bipolar disorder for years, and that it was aggravated by the death of her mother, novelist Bebe Campbell Moore. That's when her descent into drugs began. Hopefully she can pull out of this tail spin - God help her.

This really angers me. She is obviously in trouble. Whether it's schizophrenia, illegal drugs, or both. Why are they exploiting her? She asked the person to stop taping her. Who is the driver who told her that she was wrong? I know her mom died, but where is her real family or any other loved ones? Someone please help her. The people she's with are NOT her friends.
