It was the awards moment of the year, perhaps even the decade:
Kanye West crashed Taylor Swift's heartfelt acceptance speech at last night's MTV Video Music Awards and told the world that Beyonce deserved the trophy for Best Female Video. Some readers are actually referring to the act as racist, but we'll just stick with obscene and disrespectful.
In response to his behavior, Kanye issued the following apology on his blog this morning:
“I’m sooooo sorry to Taylor Swift and her fans and her mom [Andrea]. I spoke to her mother right after and she said the same thing my mother would’ve said. She is very talented! I like the lyrics about being a cheerleader and she’s in the bleachers!
I’m in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment! Beyonce’s video was the best of this decade!!! I’m sorry to my fans if I let you guys down!!!!! I’m sorry to my friends at MTV. I will apologize to Taylor 2mrw. Welcome to the real world!!!! Everybody wanna booooo me but I’m a fan of real pop culture!!! No disrespect but we watchin’ the show at the cribe right now cause.
I’m still happy for Taylor!!!! Boooyaawww!!!! You are very talented!!!!! I gave my awards to Outkast when they deserved it over me… That’s what it is!!!! I’m not crazy yall, I’m just real. Sorry for that!!! I really feel bad for Taylor and I’m sincerely sorry!!! Much Respect!!!!!”

Think this apology is sufficient? What else would you have West do in order to make up for his boorish antics?
We'd force the guy to sleep with someone as ugly and annoying as Amber Rose. That will give him a STD teach him a lesson!

But stealing the light from that young girl the way he did was just beyond disgraceful.
Kudos to Beyonce for giving her time slot to Taylor at the end. It was a classy way of saying she didn't appreciate or support what Kanye did either.

Isn't this the guy who lost his mother a couple of years ago?? You think that would soften a person just a bit? Jeez. What ever happened to class and respect for other humans?? Keep your thoughts to yourself. I didn't see the show but I am glad that the crowd booed him and was touched that Beyonce showed some class. I guarantee he didn't realize what a jerk he was/is. Just because HE feels Beyonce should have won doesn't mean she should have. What an immature, selfish jerk.

I forgot to say that the actions of all involved in this just shows what type of person they are. The truth is that in the end, it doesn't matter how much you have or what you look like, etc. it's how you lived life and treated others that counts. He's not doing so well. The girls are right on track.

Kanye needs to get his head out of his *** and realize that he is not in charge of the world's music awards, and that his opinion of who won or lost is not any more important than anyone else's opinion.
His mother should have set him straight when he was a toddler instead of allowing him to 'grow up' as a self-centered a-hole.
