The Duggars are a respectful and loving family and the kids are amazingly well-behaved and happy.
I admire their devotion to their faith and may they have as many children as God gives them.
It's unfortunate that they deny their daughters education. It is also unfortunate that after a year, they hand each baby off to a "buddy" older sister, who is expected to feed, clothe, bathe, change, and potty-train the child entirely on her own, not to mention watch it at all times. No help from Mommy or Daddy. The older girls are basically teenage mothers, as they are completely in charge of their "little buddies", even to the extent that if the child cries, wets the bed, or gets sick at night, they must get up to help it. Mommy and Daddy have nothing to do with it. The oldest girls are college age, their education has been offered to be payed in full, but their parents won't let them go because they are needed around the house, and are supposed to focus on becoming obedient wives. I think it is unfortunate.
It is amazing how many rude and unkind people (let alone the ones inidduals that have to cuss in an attempt to impart an idea) share their ignorance with the world ...
Obviously many posters were not taught manners when they were growing up! The world would be a better place if more children (and adults) were taught ... if you do not have anything nice to say, do not say anything at all ...
There sure are a lot of unhappy, nasty, rude people out there. Live and let live...they're not on welfare, they are totally self supporting. The kids seem happy and well adjusted, and are free to start thier own lives when they are ready. How come no one can just be happy for someone else any more?

It's a vagina - not a clown car.
