David Archuleta and Kris Allen: Double Dose of American Idol Cuteness, Videos
We've got a double dose of American Idol talent and cuteness below.
First, David Archuleta performed "Contigo En La Distancia" at Friday night's ALMA Awards.
The former runner-up will release a Christmas album in October, as his career might be taking awhile to launch, but we still have little doubt it will be a massive success.
Said Archie of his performance: “It was my first performance on an awards ceremony, and my first time performing on TV in Spanish! I have to say I was pretty stinkin’ nervous... I’m definitely planning on doing more in Spanish, and I hope this will allow more opportunities."
Meanwhile, season eight champion Kris Allen is yet to title his debut CD, but he has announced its release date: November 17.

To Melody: You don't think David is cute? Something is wrong with your eyes.
For Judy: You are so rude to say that both David and Kris look like monkeys? How dare you said that. I wonder how do you look like. I wouldn't be surprised if you don't even look one fourth as good as David. You are just jealous that David is so handsome while you are not beautiful. Not to mention that he is talented too. Well of course I agree with all of the wonderful things said about David. Just wanted you all to know I just bought David's Christmas Album (it was the last one left at Best Buy) and it was simply beautiful...beautiful. David sang some traditional Christmas songs but put his signature jazzy pop crooning runs in them and it was terrific. The last song on the album, "Melodies of Christmas", will be a hit for future Christmas songs sung for the Holidays. Loved it David...just loved it.

David Archuleta understands and enjoys music like no other! The only place of little launch for David is radio, but seriously who listens to radio anymore? Too many DJs tend to get stuck in a certain trashlike music genre anyway. David Archuleta is the most grassroooted musician I've seen in my lifetime! He'll continue to be successful for sure.

It is funny but they both look like monkeys. I guess monkeys are kind of cute, but I don't like either one of these guys.

David Archuleta has an amazing voice. To sing a song like that (not lip-sync), and sound the way he did, proves he is a star in the making. I do not speak the Spanish language, but I felt the emotion of the song through his interpretation. Simply beautiful!
Also, I really enjoyed Kris Allen's new single. I wish him the very best with his music career.

There is no telling how far Archuleta will go in his career. He reminds me of a young Paul McCartney. I will be interested in his future compositions.

A star is born and that is David Archuleta. The young man is amazing, his voice is sensetional and breathtaking. I just knew from the first time he went on American Idol stage that he's going to be successful. He'll be more blessed because he touches so many souls with his mavelous voice.

I believe that David is getting more and more talented as a singer and will continue to have a good career. I felt Kris Allen's single was horrible.
