My opinion is: celebrities like Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gallenhaul are respected more than those who are in the media 'rags' all the time. It is a fine line, keeping the name in media, but keeping it professional instead of personal as a goal might be a good direction to take. Whatever, Adam "should" (hate the word) follow his inner direction, hunch, gut feeling,intuition-however he call it- that will be his best advisor.

You're absolutely right on the money, Shari. Those of us who truly love Adam want him to be happy and fulfilled in his personal life, not just in his professional life. He is not "advertising" anything; he is being himself! When I hold hands with my husband (I'm a woman), no one accuses me of "advertising" anything. Why should he have to, as he said in RS, have to constantly look over his shoulder? If he loses a few fans, who cares? That kind of fan is not worth the stress. Anyone who can read knows he is gay. So if he takes Glamchick's advice and doesn't publicly step out with Drake, is that going to "make it all better" for the few girls/women who still think they have a chance with him? Fortunately, Adam would never listen to that kind of advice in a million years. He is out, proud and rightfully so. For people who might still be "uncomfortable" with gay people, maybe this kind, intelligent, confident, loving, gorgeous, articulate, mega-talented man can help shift your attitude

Yeah ADAM AND DRAKE, two of the most handsome, hottest celebs I can think of. I cherish getting to listen to Adam on You Tube, waiting for his Shows and CD's. The Happier he is the Happier I am. I love to look at the pix of the 2 of them. We have 3 generations in our family that Love and Support Adam. How lucky we are to be experiencing ADAM LAMBERT right along with his Journey. The articles ending is perfect. To Glamchik1, there are a lot of Hollywood A listers living a Lie, successful married and having kids, but living a LIE. I'd rather cheer on A Happy Truth than to try to hide behind the truth w/a lie. This is a new generation of thinkers and I'm glad to be part of this freedom. GO ADAM

I love it that Adam is true to himself. I met him after a Michigan show and he is absolutely the sweetest, cutest, warmest, most professional person. He deserves to live his life the way he wants to -- and even though he is gay, I still find him to be gorgeous, sexy, and -- yes -- the object of my fantasies!!! Go Adam!! Can't wait for your CD; continue to "Strut" your stuff!!!

Sorry, Glamchick 1, I totally disagree. The reason Adam did that no-holds-barred interview with Rolling Stone was to put everything out there so that he wouldn't have to go through his life looking over his shoulder and hiding who he is. He's a social guy - he always has been - and he has every right to openly go out on dates with his boy. I daresay most of his fans, including me (a straight female) love seeing him look so happy.
Let's face it...the thought of "getting with" Adam would be just as much an unrealistic fantasy for his female fans if he were straight. His being gay doesn't decrease the odds in any meaningful way at all.

What a couple of gorgeous guys - strut it, boys! Adam wasted no time getting back from Michigan and getting back into the scene. He has earned his down time. He looks ecstatic! Thanks for this review - I fully intend to be at one of those sold-out stadiums!

I think the young girls know Adam is gay and many think he is hotter because of it. Many love his relationship with Drake, others love the idea of being the one to turn him on. Regardless, he can't go through life trying to sneak and hide. He is doing what he can but occassionally they will be seen together. Anyone who doesn't want to buy his music or support him because he is gay, knows about it by now. I think he needs to be true to himself. Anything less just isn't worth the fame.

Glamchick1 I understand what you are saying but at this point I don't think anyone is fantasizing about him in that way. I think he is smoking hot, talented and sexy as hell but I don't fantasize about dating with him or being with him. Everything I have read from his younger fans is that they think Drake and Adam are really cute together. I haven't read anywhere that any of them under under any illusion. It would seem such a shame that he would have to hide who he is. It wouldn't seem fair that he has to keep his realationships a secret but the others don't. That implies that he has something to be ashamed of. If anything the young girls will start fantasizing that they will be the ones to turn him..lol. There are people who don't understand and yes it may hurt sales but it will probably be mostly in this country. Europeans tend to me more open minded. Madonna is International and I don't think her fans fantasize about getting with her.

I disagree with Glamchick1. We all know he has a boyfriend and are glad he is in a relationship. Why should he stop going out and having fun just because the media can't help but take pictures of these two hot guys. I think your comment about these photos becoming disturbing an interest lost is way out there. Adam has a strong fanbase of supporters who aren't fixated on a fantasy.

I hear You ella, however I think he deserves all the happiness in the world. your married, i'm married but there is the rest of the world. I just think he should try to keep it out of the spotlight because leaving more to the young hearts imagination is GOOD! Yes he is HOT!! But there are ways to stay out of the spotlight while out. not saying he shouldn't go nowhere.. of course he should but right now he definately wants to reel them ! Of course people are still going to buy him music. Etc.. But the young Girls are the ones that are going to bring him to superstardom! and pack concerts.. all im saying is he really should try not to much in media with dates Etc.. just keep media's attention with his beautiful music. His private life should be private.. and Yes we still love him. and I will be the first in line for the album.

And I disagree with a previous poster about "keeping it away from media": Adam doesn't advertise his relationship, he is only going out as anybody else does- going to concerts, restaurants, etc. and why not? He works hard and deserves some fun time as everybody else. I don't see him going with Drake as any flaw or disappointment for women(and I'm straight married woman). And I don't believe that anybody won't buy his music because he is going out with a guy. Seriously, what it has to do with his career or even being a hot man? Everybody knows that he is gay and he is still hot for millions of women? And I won't speak for every one of them but I heard an opinion (and I'm of the same one too) that they rather see him with a man than with a girl!

Huge Adam Fan, Soo happy for him, whoever he chooses to go with I will be a fan, do have to express this and hope Adam see's this.. don't want to hurt him, really truly care about his career. Everyone knows that Adam is Gay, however, I really think he needs to start keeping his personal life away from the media, I know its hard but, there are tons of Women, teens, Etc who are going crazy over him, fantasizing, whatever.. he should make that happen after all they are going to bring him into superstardom! After a while all the public photos will become disturbing to them and interest will be lost. I know that he is what he is but truly should think here. and I really don't mean nothing by this comment accept to make Adam think. To be fully a superstar he needs to go with the flow. If it means not being seen in public with dates so be it. Let the ladies go crazy, leave them to fantasize! let them wonder on your dates Adam! after all a lot of stars are gay and you never see them with date
