Ever the cutie, Vanessa Hudgens appeared on MTV's It’s On With Alexa Chung yesterday morning.

The 20-year-old actress and the show's host engaged in a few friendly battles during their time together, going at it in arm wrestling, egg crushing and tug of war.

From there, Vanessa answered a few questions, none of which had to do with Zac Efron for a change. Here's a summation of what she said:

On protection in her new home: “I actually have a taser right next to my bed. It makes me feel pretty bad-ass. There’s like a laser beam on it."

On her character in Bandslam: “It was really nice [playing a different character] because I get bored playing the same thing over and over again. It was just nice to step out of that and do something completely different. I didn’t let myself smile as much as I was used to.”

On being clumsy: “I actually fell down a flight of stairs a few days ago into gravel. Now, I have all these lovely wounds. So, it’s awesome. I’m a classy faller, though.”

Hudgens also showed off some serious wardrobe skills: she entered the studios donning one outfit (below, left) and left the bulding wearing another:
