In the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar, Leighton Meester addresses a certain foot fetish-based sex tape.

But that actually might not be the most interesting article in the magazine.

Elsewhere, Susan Boyle sits down for a revealing interview. She dishes on the sudden notoriety that came her way as she progressed on Britain's Got Talent:

"YouTube? What's that? A tube of candy? I don't think so!" she joked. "That was a shock. The YouTube thing was like a demolition ball.

"It was just overwhelming - to find TV stations camped outside your door and the phone ringing 24 hours a day. It was good. But overwhelming. It was too big for anyone to handle."

Boyle checked into a hospital soon after the talent show ended, as she suffered from exhaustion and overall fame fatigue.

We've got real, breaking, exciting news regarding two of that show's biggest stars: Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin are engaged!

The actors met on the set of this HBO hit, as Moyer portrays vampire Bill Compton and Paquin plays his love interest, Sookie Stackhouse.

In June, Moyer said of his beautiful leading lady:

"There's no one I'd rather work with. I love working with her and that's how it all started, by falling in love on camera."

This piece of good news ought to make Moyer feel better about the fact that so many readers think he's far less sexy than Robert Pattinson. Sorry about that, Stephen.

Paris Hilton is going to guest star on an episode of Supernatural.

This is so going to be out-of-this-world. We just worry that the parallel universe in which it takes place may not have cures for the diseases she carries.

Details about the Supernatural role played by Hilton, who just got back together with Doug Reinhardt, are being kept under wraps, but here's one tease.

A source close to the show says:

"The fans should trust [show runner] Eric Kripke."

Okay then. Sounds great. Who should Paris will play on Supernatural? Will she give anyone herpes? Can Doug Reinhardt also guest in a package deal?

Thanks in part to Katja von Garnier, reports say say Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are spending so much time apart that their relationship is beyond repair.

Star says in its upcoming issue that while Angelina was in Los Angeles late last month caring for their six children, Brad was drinking and flirting like a bachelor - with his former flame Katja! - at the Inglourious Basterds premiere in Berlin.

Adding insult to injury, Angelina - who's been stressed out about the steady decay of their relationship, as they've been fighting a lot - had planned to join Brad over in Germany for the A-list event, but he disinvited her at the last minute.

"Two days before the trip, Brad told her it was best if she didn't come," a source said. “They've been fighting a lot, but this really ripped her heart out."

And Brad's bad-boy behavior - notably flirting with Katja von Garnier, seen above with Pitt back in 1997 and again just a week or so ago - at the July 28 Inglourious Basterds after party didn't help their already troubled situation.

"Angie lost it because Brad started drinking at a photo call hours before the premiere and kept going until 4 a.m.!" says a source close to the couple.

"She tried calling a few times, he didn't pick up - so she kept trying until he answered. She was nagging him so much that Brad finally shut his phone off."

Has Brad's partying with Katja von Garnier, a brunette German director and his one-time gal pal, been taking a toll on their six kids? Is any of this true or is it nothing but juicy celebrity gossip invented to sell magazines? Thoughts?

It was a union that seemed doom to fail from its whacky, possibly drug-induced beginning.

Still, the relationship between Paula Abdul and American Idol lasted for eight successful seasons. Where did it all go wrong? Why won't she be returning to the show next season?

Sources told The New York Times that Abdul earned $2 million last year. For season nine, she wanted a raise... of 500%!

After the judge asked for $20 million per year, producers countered with a multi-year deal worth more than $10 million. Feeling slighted by the monster contract Ryan Seacrest signed last month, along with the addition of Kara DioGuardi, Paula walked away.

On his radio show today, Seacrest said:

"She has her reasons for doing it, and if she didn't feel like she was getting what she needed, then I understand that."

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is taking her unique blend of acting talent, charisma and good looks to Melrose Place this fall. If only she had any of the above.

Not to give any Melrose Place spoilers away here, but she is not good. We have seen the pilot. Nevertheless, she sat down with People recently to talk about her offbeat character on the CW’s revival of the primetime soap.

“She is a little weird,” Ashlee said. “I have a so-called innocent side, but I think it’s just the persona that I’m giving to people. I’m only setting people up.”

Describing her character, Simpson-Wentz says that, “Her name is Violet and she’s new to Melrose Place, new to L.A., looking for a family member - looking for any kind of family, looking for love. She’s really not accepted - not just yet."

"I think that’s something interesting, to play the outsider.”

Some of Violet’s downfalls? "Obsessing over things and people,” says the 24-year-old, even-less-talented sister of Jessica Simpson. “Anyone that’s willing to be like, ‘I’ll help you out,’ she ends up finding an obsession with them.”

Unlike Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, who has a strong bond with her own family in real life, the character is “desperate for family, desperate for love, to connect.”

“She looks up to Ella, who’s played by Katie Cassidy, because she’s got it together from the outside. She’s like ‘How am I ever going to fit in this town?’”

Simpson says she’s glad to be part of the series’ tradition of shocking plot twists - but won’t give up an specifics ... yet. “There’s a lot of jaw-droppers on the show that we obviously can’t give away but it does get crazy.”

Although she was too young to catch the original Melrose Place, the lip-syncher hopes to “bring the old audience back and also start a new one, one that's for our generation because we just missed the boat on Melrose Place.”

Girls may be throwing various sex toys at Adam Lambert, but the American Idol finalist still only has eyes for one man.

He told E! News this week that his relationship with Drake LaBry is still going strong.

"It's going really well," the singer said while on tour with his fellow season eight finalists "It's just fine. We're dealing with [being apart] just fine."

The couple is apart, of course, because Lambert, Kris Allen and company have been touring the country for over a month now. The concerts should finally wind down next month.

"I'm excited for the future... when I'm in L.A. for more than, you know, a day," Adam told E!. "It'll be nice."

For a woman obsessed with fame, Bethenny Frankel has chosen an unusual publication in which to confirm her impending marriage.

The Real Housewives of New York City star graces the cover of this month's Engagement 101 - yes, that's actually a magazine - and goes into detail about Jason Hoppy, her presumed fiance.

“He’s kind, modest and a good person who can handle my success and my crazy lifestyle,” she says in the feature article. “Plus, he’s tall and good looking.”

That's all well and good - but is Frankel actually engaged to Hoppy? Reports claim this is all just a PR stunt. However...

“It’s not fake,” says Engagement 101 editor-in-chief Severine Ferrari. “Bethenny is a genuine person and she’s seriously committed to Jason. A wedding is definitely in the works.”

In the article, Frankel states she's seeking a “six carat oval” engagement ring. Well, sure. If anyone deserves that size rock, she does.

Since Jon & Kate Plus 8 tandem Jon and Kate Gosselin announced they were getting a divorce on June 22, their lives have been turned upside down.

Kate has tried to shore up business deals and flaunt her toned body. Jon has traveled a lot and started giving it to anything with breasts and a pulse.

But despite rumors of his partying and womanizing - most recently with his kids' babysitter Stephanie Santoro - Jon says nothing is what it seems.

"Things are out of control," Jon tells In Touch. "Many people think that everything moved too fast, that I was out partying much too quickly. But Kate gave up on the marriage last October, and the divorce will be finalized September 30."

Jodelle Ferland has been cast in the third Twilight Saga installment. According to Variety, the 14-year old will play a “vampire who has just been turned." Hmmm... sounds like Bree, no?

The Canadia actress has impressive resume for someone her age. She's appeared in an episode of Supernatural and will next be seen opposite Renee Zellweger September's Case 39.

Ferland is the latest rising star to join the cast of Eclipse. Earlier this summer, Xavier Samuel came on board in the role of Riley.

The movie will be released on June 30, 2010.
