Lets get real the "government" is already in everything we do local, state or national. Us down on the lower level of the food chain has always experienced it. Now that we see things being even out you guys upward on the food chain starting to get you feathers ruffled. Welcome to our world. And on a personal note I loved the Joker, Heath Ledger version, He was Awesome!

The scary thing about people like Cheri is that they purposefully neglect to remember the Big Brother-esque activities perpetrated by the previous administration. It was under the Bush administration that the tapping of telephone lines was permitted. It was under the Bush administration that the Patriot Act was passed, which allows the government at their own whim to invade your privacy in so many aspects under the auspices of protecting freedom, granting generals the right to shoot down commercial airlines, etc..
All these things are conveniently forgotten but then Obama is pushing Big Brother. Does anyone stop to think for a second that the police, fire, public education, armed forces, etc... are all socialized programs?
Nobody seems to complain about these services, but throw health in there and we're all in fear of us becoming socialized? Come on.

I live in holland, Europe.. everyone here is very very free.. even to some degrees to do things I think should be prohibited. like drugs and abortion.. but we're all insured for our medical treatments no matter how rich or poor we are..
What is freedom.. did you ever think of that?
