Some promotional photos for The CW's freshman fall series, The Beautiful Life, have just been released, including this hot new cast picture below.
Conspicuously absent? Mischa Barton. She says she's really happy now, but we are guessing the producers are not so happy with their lead star.
Word has it they've been working on a contingency plan in case Barton is not stable enough to follow through with filming. Probably a smart move.

It's a Beautiful Life for these young hotties, with or without Barton.
Just in case you thought Mischa was gone altogether, though, think again. A second photo was released that shows Barton, who reportedly tried to take her own life last week, looking suitably angry and bored in this episode still:

I think she was in for "suicidal behavior" as opposed to a "suicidal attempt" - suicidal behavior to get your self sectioned can be simply being really drunk/high, making threats and saying you want to die and having lots of drugs around (ie method, idea and lack of judgment)... plus people saying they are concerned ...it may be that she she simply needed a shock which they kindly gave her
