One more thing. After reading through these comments, can anyone tell me what performance they've ever seen prior to this where the singer needed a pole to be there just in case she needed to use it to stand up? Anyone?

You know, some people say she acts like this as a sort of survival mechanism so that she can get through Hollywood and the pressure of fame and whatnot, but not all child stars act like some wild teenager who does things just because no one wants to stop her. I mean sure, I guess anyone who probably makes more money than their own father at that age might act the same way, but that doesn't make it any less annoying... And yeah, I'm a teen too. Not all of us teens don't have our heads screwed on straight. lol

Maybe parents would hate it in America, because they think things like nude sculptures are gross and whatnot.
Sure, the outfit was a little provocative, but we let kids wear shorts all the time. Almost every girl's short is that length, unless you force them to wear "bermudas" or boys' basketball shorts.

you can act taste full and classy. Everyone says theres nothing wrong with it and they compare themselves to it like "im growing up and i dress like that or whatever" but you dont have little girls from like ages 5 and up watching you. if anything more of mileys fans are younger than 16. I think you need a certain character to become famous, and liking to show off belongs to it, it is just consequential. I was so disturbed by Miley strutting her stuff like a hooker I could barely get to sleep later on. She looked SOOO trashy. Shorts so short you could almost see her pubic hair and then a dress cut-down-to-there with her boobs hanging out. She's not even 16 yet, is she? Good God, what were her parents thinking, letting her dress like that?? A teen can look edgy, but not trashy. Note Kristen Stewart's skirt combo.
