Miley Cyrus is a complete phony.
The Disney icon pretends to be an innocent 16-year old whenever she's involved with a scandal, such as when she clearly mocked Asian people in a photograph earlier this year, but then she poses in hooker boots and tells the world she's "not a kid anymore."
As if to prove her point, Miley put on a performance for the ages (literally!) at last night's Teen Choice Awards.
The singer rocked out to her new single, "Party in the USA," while standing atop an ice cream cart (awww, see how young and innocent she is?!?) and pole dancing like a stripper!
Later in the evening, Cyrus presented the Ultimate Choice Award to Britney Spears and told the fans: “I’m a huge fans of hers."
Makes sense. Britney has also made a career out of appealing to teenagers with her supposed saintliness, only to release songs with lyrics that would make Hugh Hefner blush.
We hope we're wrong, but it's just a matter of time until Miley also gets knocked up twice and then divorced.

people need to stop gettin on miley shes getting older i undstarnd where shes comin from. im growwin up to so just get off her back. dang....shes awsome nd i support her 1000% because i lliked her before and just because of a couple things people have to make her out like a bad person..MILEY..U STILL ROCK! Yes, lets all agree that the pole was for support. However, that outfit is CLEARLY inappropriate. There is no reason for a young 16 year old to be showing off her bra and wearing shorts to the top of her thighs. Growing up i always wanted to dress like Lizzie McGuire, does she not think little girls will want to dress just like her? Stupid on her part.

I guess the younger generation will not see it as "bad" as the older one will since "sex" is out there more than ever. A true musician/singer can stand up on a stage and sing a song without all the hoopla. Granted this was a show but come on, it's a kids awards show that my 12 yr old daughter might have watched then she thinks that dancing with a pole is cool or something. Ultimately I blame the adults though, they are the ones in control and let this stuff happen. Are there any more nice/good girls out there anymore?

Keira, I agree with you and as far as the support thing with the pole goes, any adult will know exactly what the pole represents. Plus it's not like she's out there in a pantsuit, lol. What you see is what it's meant to look like. Why would any parent want their daughter, only 16, to look like a sleazy stripper is beyond me.

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!?!?!? She's 16........and pole dancing?! You've got to be kidding me. Im 16 and I find it highly innapropraite dor her to be doing that whilst wearing that. Im a fan of hers but in my opinion, she looks like a whore!!! What the hell are her parents doing letting her do that?!?! My parents would rather me working as a hooker than going up on national tv wearing barely anything and pole dancing for a TEENS programme.
