It's not enough that Miley Cyrus danced like a stripper at this week's Teen Choice Awards.
Nor does the fact that she bought a new pair of glasses (always a monumental event) and bragged about them via Twitter suffice.
Indeed, Cyrus still craves more attention. She can never be anywhere but at the center of the universe of her fans, who are actually starting to dwindle by the day as they realize just how self-absorbed Miley can be.
The latest example? Cyrus has created a rumor, rebuffed it and then acted as though the entire world is talking about.
She posted the following message on her Twitter account yesterday:
There's just one problem with this plea: no one has accused Miley of having a boyfriend. No one. Not a single celebrity gossip site. No supermarket tabloids. Trust us, we know. We check them all everyday.
And, gee, if people are talking about Miley's new man, perhaps it's because she's drawing attention to it herself by mysteriously posting flirtatious Tweets left and right. Has she ever heard of email?!? Why would she even want the world to see such personal messages? Wait. We already know the answer to that.
This is actually the second time Cyrus has taken to Twitter to rebuke an accusation she made up in her head.
In May, she lashed out at critics of her body, despite the fact that none existed. Can Miley really not take a single day off from trying to create her own buzz and garner her own sympathy?
It's pathetic. Just sing, act and let your fans make up their own mind about you, Miles.
Miley Cyrus also posted this photo of herself on Twitter. She wants everyone to tell her how adorable she looks.

actually ther were some pics of her and some random guy on TWITTER - do u check that one every day!!! he was soooooooo ugly adn looked older than Justin and her fans were twittering bout how they hoped she wasn't going out with him and how do i know this u ask?? i am 1 of her fans and i only twitter with other miley fans and they were ALL talking about it so there!!!

Actually, "Oceanup" which is a major Gossip site for tweens, teens, and young adults reported the story. "Hannah Montana's" fan base may be shrinking a little, but last I checked, Miley's fan base is growing.

I think that sometimes this may be true, but as was said by some this site called ocean up does report such things to stir people up & there were pictures of some older guy that is probably associated with the movie too. In the case of the picture of her with the flower in her hair, I believe that is a way she communicates with her former boyfriend - they are communicating via twitter and seem to still care for one another but are in different states - seems harmless to me. I feel sorry for her because she is a teen going through many emotions & is always getting bashed in the media. She is a nice kid having to live in a grown up world & people forget shes is still a kid.

Leave her alone. No wonder she's upset. Every litlle thing she does goes out all over the web and beyond. Like someone else said it was on twitter and oceanUp about this guy. I believe OcenaUp did recant it on twitter. If you don't like her then don't add to the media frenzy. I agree she was sending a mesg to a certain someone on twitter with the pic with the flower in her hair.
