Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick Go Goth in Elle

by at . Comments

While Gossip Girl's two million fans pale in comparison to the Twilight saga and its mobs of obsessives, the palpable chemistry of co-stars Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick reminds us a bit of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

Like Robsten, fans desperately long for Leighton and Ed to be together based solely on their smokin' Gossip Girl characters, Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass.

Heck, their only problem with the (now denied) Leighton Meester sex tape was not that it was dirrrrrty, or she was underage, but that Ed was not its co-star!

The fact that both date other people (co-stars on the show, in fact) in real life is neither here nor there. Have you seen how he looks at her? Chair forever!!

This photo from the upcoming issue of Elle, which features Leighton and Ed lookin’ all kinds of HOT (and goth) will only stoke those imaginary flames:

No one here will know what I'm talking about, but stick a mustache on Chuck, and he'd look exactly like Voltaite. Huh. They do look good Goth, though.
