John Hughes Dies at 59

On a sad note, we have learned that director John Hughes died of a heart attack this morning, according to reports. The '80s film staple was only 59.

Hughes is said to have suffered the heart attack while taking a morning walk during a trip to New York City to visit family. More details to come soon.

He directed many '80s hit films, and is responsible for classic The Breakfast Club quotes, Sixteen Candles quotes and Ferris Bueller's Day Off quotes.

John Hughes will be missed.
