Have to agree with Rialto. " Christians" are no better or worse than anyone else after all its just a name. Deeds are the true test of character. Sometimes we should be a little less judgemental of other people and focus on our own flaws. If people kept their noses on their own faces we would all be much better off.

kakylasper, i guess that makes him much worse a liar than Bush, who during his eight-year "screw-up," repeatedly lied to the public on matters much more important than his sex life. Who gives a rat's ass about how many stains Clinton left on some idiot's dress. The idiot should have known better than to become involved with a married man. But Bush lies on domestic and foreign matters, and that's ok for the conservative religious right, while, by the way, they're screwing anything that moves and at the same time are looking to impeach anyone who does exactly what they're doing, but gets caught. So much for Christian values!

It's a fact that John Edwards is a self-serving, egomaniacal liar. We all know it from his various behaviors on and off the campaign trail. His wife is not entirely blameless in this regard, as she knew full well he was a liar after her admitted his affair to her and they both returned to campaigning talking about "family values". When you have to talk about family values, you have none. I think that's the new benchmark.
And let's leave religion out of this debate. Christians aren't any better or worse than any other devotees of any religion. They're just as sinful or not, just as good or not, just as bad or not. Wow, peace out "LIARS." Mrs. Edwards tried to keep her marriage together with the father of her children - whether or not he did wrong. She is a strong, Christian woman, who is battling cancer, and you need to re-assess why you would be so horrible to call this woman explicatives. (Do you know what explicative means?) You really need to be blocked from making comments and get into some serious anger management or counseling or both.
