Britney Spears and Jason Trawick: Still Together!

Despite simmering rumors of their recent breakup, agent Jason Trawick is still in the running to be the next Mr. Britney Spears, according to reports.

The bubbly star, who made a splash by reading the Top 10 list on The Late Show with David Letterman in a bikini, is all smiles in her personal life as well.

"Things are fine – they still maintain a great working relationship and he's in her life as a great friend as he's always been," a close source tells People.

Contrary to recent reports that the two ended their romance because she was moving too fast, the pair continue their relationship, the source claims.

"Jason did not break up with Britney. That's totally false."

Jason Trawick and Britney Spears are very much an item.

So while they are not exactly headed for the altar - despite the engagement ring Britney wears sometimes - the pair have great respect for one another.

"Things are casual ... Britney really listens to what he has to say. He's been with her a long time, he gets along with the family," says the source.

"[Jason Trawick] has her best interests at heart, and he cares about her."
