as much as i would like for reid to come back i dont think he should because he needs to be fair and not interfer. however i dont think ed should of came back either i think that once tanner told jill, he was screwed, lied to jillian and said work was interfering, when he had a girlfriend so he went back home broke up with her and came back. reid was my favorite but i think she let reid go because so her final dicesion wouldnt be hard between ed n kiptyn so she ask reid if he loved her and then it was between kiptyn n reid so reid went home. i read in a magazine that she said her pick wasnt that hard!

Happy, giddy, teary, confused,too aggresivie, sweet Jillian. Will she ever be sure of what she wants, who she wants? She needs to take several steps back and let things happen by the motivation and feelings of the guys. You can't plant what isn't there. Take the genuine, honest approach and let it happen.
Is Jillian really ready to make a committment? She says she is, but that doesn't mean she is emotionally equipped to forge ahead. There's much to be considered, and that is with her potential partner. Can she tune in to his feelings, his interests, his goals, his disposition, a relocation of residence, and focus on future plans? Much to be considered, and not likely to be recognized in the ambience of beautiful surroundings, and the luxury and lifestyle as seen throughout the filming of the show. The reality of that lifestyle is not an everyday occurence for most, but it is obtainable. Are her priorities in order? Good luck to you all!

I love all of the folks with the guts to say "if u don't like what's happening on the show, don't watch, don't comment!" Through the last few seasons, I think ABC has stepped away from their normal pattern of down to two, pick one, proposal, and off they ride into the sunset... this season I think reality Steve is on the money, and it will be Reid! I almost hope Reid doesn't propose, but says he loves her- proposals do seem soooo rushed and fake, one of the reasons these couples are doomed...Kiptin as the next bachelor?? I'll watch if his mom gets some airtime, she was an absolute trip!!

Come on people, its reality TV. Its not real life. The one poster here said she finally got it a was TV show, um sorry but where have you been for the last couple of years. You cant take it that serious. If two people find each other, great, if not, most of them had a pretty good time at some nice locations. I do agree with the poster who said maybe they could just decide to pursue the relationship, it might even seem like a more reasonable ending, and they may have a better chance not starting out from the show "engaged."

I have to agree with you Maggie. Kiptyn is not my idea of a good choice as the next bachelor, but rumor has it that it is already contracted {if you can believe these message boards}. I won't be watching either, UNLESS...maybe they bring back some of the bachelorettes from previous episodes. It seems like you really form a connection with some of these people, albeit, vicariously through the television. I sure would like to know what happened to Jake. What a guy!

Jillian appears as one insecure, horny woman. I never noticed her piggish sq to me at this time. Please have her pick someojne and go home. I'm really against picking from the same pool of bachelors/bacholorettes.....makes it so boring. Keep it fun and refreshing with constant new personalities and change up the fromat with some different twists. Just a suggestion. The thought of another season of Kipton-----I will NOT be watching this one.

Kudos to Tokei2 and Deborah Isaacs AND ABC. I've often wondered why people are here to post their negativity if they hate the show or its premise. I have to admit that ABC's creative editing ruffles a few feathers, but like a moth to a flame, we return every Monday night to see what happens next! I truly go through withdrawal when any Bachelor(ette) season ends! It's almost like reading a good book and you can't wait to see how it ends, with all the twists and turns! Then, when you close the book, you still want more!

i am 60 years old and have watched alot of tv in my day... and this is what i have to say... first of all..this is reality tv and you viewers know this from get go ..so stop complaining..i think abc has done a wonderfull job in presenting this for us.. they listened to us when we wanted jillian take the spot this year.. remember back when the show first aired the very first bachelor show to now..its come a long way.. the filming is awesome.. they took us halfway around the world and we didnt even leave home..i really enjoyed this..and hope to see more thank you abc

First of all, I don't understand all the negative comments about this season's Bachelorette. If you don't like the show, what in the H are you doing here, reading and writing comments??? Nough said! Now...on to the final. I agree that Jillian is a completely different person than what I saw on Jason's Bachelor. She seems to be very high maintenance all of a sudden. Anyway, I sure hoped it was Jake that returned to propose...she didn't give him much of a chance. But...I guess that's all it is, is wishful thinking. Ed...something shady about him which I still maintain is another woman and I don't really think Kiptyn is ready for a commitment to Jillian. Reid, at this point, has to be the "comeback kid". I don't know..they're doing all of this for ratings so you know they're bound to do anything. Don't be too shocked at the outcome.

My question is this, why does the show have to end with a proposal? Why can't it just end with finding someone you'd like to pursue a relationship with. It's totally insane to start out with 30 men and after talking with each one for what? 5 minutes - 10 minutes, decide if you want to get to know them better. The concept of the show is kind of weird anyway and only one relationship has ever lasted out of all the shows. I don't understand Jillian though. Last season she said she wanted to marry her 'best friend'. She kept saying how Reid was like a 'best friend', that he made her laugh and that she liked how she felt when she was with him. Duh?? What then, is she looking for??? I think Reid is perfect for her. He has been honest with how he feels - nobody should rush into telling someone that they love them just because that's what they want to hear. I admire Reid for being true to himself. This is about as interesting this season as reading the phone book. I thought Jillian was pretty cool on The Bachelor, but she seems totally different on Bachelorette. She comes across to me as being a completely needy, self-involved woman, eager to hear those three little words before she's even sure who SHE loves (if any of them). I LOVE Reid and Kiptyn. I don't usually want someone's leftovers, but in this case, if she doesn't want them send them on down!

I really think that Jillian had to go through a lot...Reid had to come back b/c she said he heart couln't take what she heard and I'm pretty sure if she rejected Ed or Kiptyn that they would not say something to hurt her. I realy like Kiptyn a lot....she said that she choose the right guy and I'm hoping that if Ed had a girlfriend she didn't choose him so I think that the spoiler is not true so hopefully it's Kiptyn or Reid. I like all three of the guys and idk who I like more. I think Im leaning towards Kiptyn he's sweet and he is not rushng to say I love you and wants to wait for engagement I don't think that people should get engaged after four months, he has his values and said that maybe they should wait or try for the leap of faith. Reid is just the same...who knows mybe Jillian wants to get engaged now and only Ed is the guy that will do that. I really want Kip or Reid to win at this point...they are all good guys. Did anyone else think it strange the way that Reid left? He said, "I don't know what to say." Jillian said, "Say goodbye..." I could not tell if that is what she really said or not. Then at the car, she appeared to give him a pat on the behind, and she smiled and blew him a kiss. I cannot get closed captioning to work on the computer, so I can't tell for certain what they are saying. I think some of it is dubbed over anyway.

I also wanted to share my opinion on the " Ed has a girlfriend" rumor. If he does work for Microsoft I do not see why he would bother going on the show if he has a girlfriend, and if he did how could any girl be so foolish as to email and ask if we are seeing other people? If he went on the show obviously he doesn't consider her his girlfriend. Wes has career to promote but what would Ed have to gain by going on the show unless he was looking for publicity of some sort. It doesn't add up. The trips are not worth messing up a relationship with someone you cared about. So either it is not true or this so called girlfriend is living in a fantasy thinking she is his girlfriend after perhaps a few dates. The only other options would be Ed has a secret fantasy to become a TV Star. Maybe he did the show on a dare to prove he could do it and make it to the end.
who knows what the contestants are really like, we know they show us what makes good TV an not always the situation in context it

We know some of this is staged. We know they fill the contestants with enough alcohol to float a US Navy aircraft carrier. Should they have the cameras still rolling in the fantasy suite... they used to shut the doors and leave it to your imagination which I prefer. But we see much more on daytime TV and if you don't want to watch we all have the option to change the channel, leave the room, or turn it off. We know half of the contestants on these reality shows want to land a job in TV or entertainment so they put it on for the cameras. We all know the chances of the couple really working out are slim to none. But face it,the show makes good water cooler chat, we all love a good fairytale, and wa all watch in hopes that another one will have a happy ending.

The Bachlorette/Bachelor shows all suck. They're all fake. They go on the show looking for love, but all but one couple has actually married and lasted. I refuse to waste my time on this garbage. It's filth.

I would never want to be proposed to by someone who I have to ask how he feels about me. Ryan and Trista worked out because they had chemistry from the start and he was very open about his feelings. Pretty hard to fall in love by your self. Unless Reid comes back, I don't see Jillian getting proposed to. You can't push it like she does and have both people end up happy.
