That tour started one week after she got out of the hospital.
She was under NO obligation to do the tour, but she didn't want to disappoint her fans.
That's what I call being a real trooper.
28 shows in 24 days was ludicrous even for the kids.
I wonder why it was never reported when the other acts didn't perform. Probably because the media had no interest in beating them up, only Susan.
It's about time that she's treated with some respect, her fans are sick and tired of all the bashing.
I'm very happy they won't rush the CD like they usually do, although selfishly, I want it yesterday!
This time I hope that Susan is calling the shots. No more getting pushed around, those days are over.

Susan did very well on tour. That was a long tour with extensive traveling which is enough to do anyone in especially when you're not use to it. Her life has been a whirlwind every since her first appearance on Britian's Got Talent and, I'm sure stressful to say the least. She's a wonderful talent and will do just fine. I look forward to her CD's and wish her nothing but the best.

All your article does is put Susan Boyle in a bad light by misrepresnting her health and stamina and printing a picture that you must have borrowed from the tabloids.

Hi - fyi, Susan Boyle has had no trouble singing back to back nights since mid-June. She was hospitalized 4 days, and then eased into the tour. She missed 5 out of 29 shows on the tour, which ended last weekend. Last week alone, she performed every night, and then Friday, two shows Saturday and two shows Sunday. She did this (back to back matinees and evening shows) several times. Check YouTube for all the videos of her 24 performances. She was recovering from exhaustion, but is well now - even recorded her first CD track at the same time as the tour.
Simon was also clear that they're taking their time not because she can't handle the schedule, but because he doesn't want to rush a cookie-cutter CD like is normally done after the Britain's Got Talent competitions. "It's not an obvious record" he said, "so we're going to take our time with this." That's the whole original quote. He said nothing about her health - the entire comment was about the CD.
