In America, we are innocent until proven guilty. In America we are free to alter, adjust, change, and transform anything we so choose. In Mr. Jackson's case, an iconic legend and greatest entertainer of all time, he chose to do this for nations and scores of people all over the world. He altered, adjusted, changed, and transformed the way people felt, laughed, cried, etc. Stop focusing on Jackson's physical changes (that are his American born right to change) and focus on the many things he did change for others ( a privelege and honor). Jehovah please bless all of the Jackson family. You all are in my prayers. Jehovah also bless those who lack understanding and who are full of hatred. Forgive them father, for they know not what they do.

i think mj was an old soul. so many people just did not understand this man/boy. he was robbed of his childhood but on the otherhand we wouldn't have had such a fantastic and wonderful entertainer. I don't know of all the great things
he did, but I know of a few, and as far as I am concerned we have all lost a great, great man.
GOD BLESS MICHAEL JACKSON

there are some extremely ignorant and stupid people out there, if he was a pervert then there would have been all sorts of things coming out of the woodwork, its not hard to work out, he had contact with absolutely thousands of kids, dont you think there would have been more speaking up? There wasn't more because he was not guilty, he was a victim of greed and nothing more, leave the poor man alone.

Mr King shame himself for the insensitive allegations he made. MJ was not proven guilty and the first family walk away w/ $22million for settlement. Settlement doesn't mean MJ is guilty. The second allegation was non-guilty. So Mr King if you are a lawyer you don't know your law innocent until proven guilty ring a bell? Shame on you and I wish your constituent vote you out next time around.

What's making me laugh in all of this are the ridiculous comments above. Mr. King's comments may be a bit harsh but do carry some weight none the less. Michael jackson was talented there is no doubt. An idol? Not with his character. You might want to compare him to Elvis and that would be fine with me as I'm not an Elvis fan either but to compare their lifestyles...I think not. The only comparisson was the drugs. I don't recall Elvis inviting little boys to his bedroom. Michael ont he other hand openly admitted to doing just that. If you want to celebrate his talent, fine but don't forget the twisted that came along with that. I think President Obama said it best. On a last note, if you think Mr. King is out of place consider the stupid remarks made by reverend Sharpton. I havent heard so much crap in years. We all know he can't believe what he said when he told Jakson's children that their dad had done nothing wrong. What a stupid thing to say. He should have left that one alone. The

One, Micheal Jackson was a celebrity and celebrities have been well known to be able to "buy the public" including JUDGES. YES OUR LEGAL SYSTEM IS FLAWED. Read the statements given by the children who accused him of abuse. Children RARELY lie about this kind of abuse. In fact it is less likely for a male victim to lie as they usually never even tell. These are FACTS. I hate everyone who would rather believe the word of a grown man who admittingly let children sleep in his bed than the word of a child. I am disgusted in my country that we would call children who were brave enough to speak out liars. It is VERY VERY hard to prove sexual abuse in a male victim. Almost impossible, the only proof is in the word of the victim. TWO If he was innocent he would not have paid millions to his accusers to shut them up. Those families chose to take the settlement because they knew they would spend YEARS in court thanks to Jackson's millions causing their kids more trauma than they had already endur

NY Rep Peter King’s has no respect for Michael Jackson or Mr. Jackson’s family. Who wants to hear such comments when you have just lost a loved one regardless of what they may have been accused of. Peter King’s comments of Michael Jackson being a “Pervert, Child Molester and Petafile” is SLANDER/LIBEL and Peter King should have criminal charges brought against him for making those comments. As a public servant he has no right to make these allegations. I would like to know how his comments serve the people of New York who elected him congressman or this country for that matter. Michael Jackson is dead and is not even in the ground and Peter King has the audacity to make such rude and disrespectful remarks. If it were Elvis Presley he probably wouldn’t have said nothing. Peter King should be focusing more on bring his party together and finding solutions to bring this country out of it’s recession rather than putting his time and energy into the defamation of Michae

Okay, now that some people are questioning whether or not Michael should get a stamp/statue/hero status whatever, consider this:
This all happened to Elvis as well(the praise, not the drama) and elvis was a serious drug addict and fat. But none of that was said *the few weeks* after his death. And Michael IS 20X the star elvis was.
Get off your high horse people. If Elvis deserved it, Michael deserves even more.
I swear, it's not republicans/democrats who are bad, it's dumba**es who don't have the respect to let someone rest at least 2 weeks after he's died.
