its funny how when people are found not guilty of a crime the system is flawed but when someome it convicted a crime people always say that they had their day in court. you people are funny. when you want someone to be guilty they are guilty reguardless of the legal process. the world is still filled with a lot of hate and undercover racist.

steve jaymie we would much rather it be you thats gone. no wone would miss your nothing ass.

While Peter King's comments were not eloquent, his point is nonetheless valid. Michael Jackson's funeral yesterday was completely ridiculous and undeserved. It was a funeral for the untimely death of a President.

    And a few law-related points...

First, you simply cannot slander someone who is dead. Thus, no one can bring a slander suit against Peter King.

Second, "innocent until proven guilty" is simply the basis for our legal system. BY ABSOLUTELY NO MEANS does it mean that someone who is not convicted is innocent. If you believe otherwise, you are completely delusional. Every day, we allow otherwise guilty individuals to go free due to inadequate prosecution or technicalities. It is an imperfect system, but I believe it is the best we can do.

And so... while not convicted of child molestation, Michael Jackson admitted to sleeping in bed with children who were not his own and paid millions to settle a civil lawsuit with the family.

Michael Jackson was on the path to self destruction and he got there. No one else killed Michael Jackson, his personality died a long time ago as a child and the one on the stage was a shell. All the "surprised" people who didn't know he was taking drugs, what else did he do? Money can't make you feel and he killed his physical body himself, no one made him take drugs. Seems he had a big hole inside that couldn't be filled. As for the molestation charges, no comment. Love is more than a word.

Who are people grieving for? Did you kow him? Grieve for some real people and live a real life yourselves, Mr Jackson was fake. "Issues", he had more than the run of the mill issues, he was psychotic when he dangled that baby off the balcony, what WAS he doing with kids in his bed?

I wouldn't call sleeping with someone elses child loving. So much money and time wasted on celebrities who are messed up, look at people like Johnny Depp who keep their kids away from the media and away from high balconies. Did he even know what love was to sing about it?

He didn't love himself or he wouldn't have changed himself to look like a freak. What's with all the ex wives and girlfriends coming out with phoney relationship stories?

Crying for attention, any movies coming out soon? Michael Jackson was not a little boy, but it was OK for him to act like one because he had money and money buys blindness. Why do people profess to know that he was a loving person? He continued to b

What did Michael Jackson do for us that wasn't self serving? He even invented an Award for himself for Reagan to hand to him- he wrote the words for the plaque (when the Queen of England wouldn't make him a knight). He fooled you fans, a child molester drawing children in with a fun park and money and promises of fame. He continues to fool today, he didn't like anyone but himself. He was smarter than he looked, a psychopath Willy Wonka immortalised as a hero. Listen to his lyrics "I'm bad I'm bad, you know it" and grabbing his crotch at the same time- some of us know it, the rest are fools. He made himself white because he was proud to be black and he loved his fellow humans so much he His family all crowded around the little girl at the funeral were sick-sick sick and the girl shed no tears. How long until Prince Michael Jnr ends up on drugs screwed up from being molested and not being able to talk? What ever happened to the boy MJ "married" and shared a honeymoon suite with?

What a misguided fool this hate monger Peter King is!

Doesn't he realize that people have the right to grieve in whatever way they please, and that for him to criticize the measure, depth or length of time of anyone’s grieving process is both narrow-minded and disrespectful? Did anyone ever tell him he can turn off the TV and maybe read a history book?

Whether the name is Rudolf Valentino, Bob Marley, Princess Diana or Michael Jackson -- all icons who affected the masses in a powerful, emotional way -- the public outpouring of grief, which is commensurate with the sum of the affection and respect that they earned through their life’s work, simply needs to take its course.

And to add irony to insult, doesn't ‘Smiley’ realize that if he wants to curtail the attention and time spent on the memory of someone who lived and saw things differently than he, what his missives did was achieve the exact opposite and only served to extend the very time and focus that he is trying

In regards to Mr. kings comments and the people who agrees within...i just wanna say that I would sure love for someone to put a microscope over your reality and see what pops up...Then we can talk about who is really messed up or not.

"None of us have any room to judge, especially when most of us have far worst issues than Michael Jackson. Your soap box isn't that big where it stands with inquisition."

Grow up and let the man rest in peace...How would you feel if that was your mother or father or sister or brother? Uh? someone have the audacity

    Mr. Peter King,

Until now you were just a figment of someone's imagination, certainly not mines, because I never paid any attention to who you are exactly. However, I find your comment "the media had gone far over the top in glorifying Jackson, who he deemed a "low-life" pervert who "may have been a good singer" and "did some dancing" very appauling, disgraceful, insensitive, ridiculous, abrasive, inhumane and just plain out right insidious.

One would think that a person from your background, understanding the law and all, would know the constitution and that we're all innocent until proven guily and Michael Jackson was found not guilty of all charges.

The funny thing is that I am hardly surprised of your hurtful comment because people of your background, stature, and age group treated blacks as well as other minorities with disdain in your era, but that was then and this is now. I would love for someone to all that you are under the microscope so that the world can see who

michael jerkson admitted to sleeping with 5 boys. They are the Jackson five the liberal, racist media is ignoring.

michael jerkson didn't go to jail on
Earth because he was black and rich.

O.J. didn't go to jail either.

  13. Apollyon

Thank god someone is speaking against him...Somehow dying automatically makes you a saint. He was a pedophile, and that cannot be forgiven. He was an entertainer, nothing more. Peter King is being called a racist for saying something something that no one else has the balls to say? The hypocrisy kills me. The same people saying "God Bless MJ" are the same ones who pointed accusing fingers at him several years ago.
For those who disagree with me, guess what?
I owned several MJ CD's BEFORE he died, all the hypocrites who went out and bought his CD's and downloaded his music after were the same ones who condemned him years ago.

MICHAEL WAS KILLED BY THESE KIND OF ASSHOLES SUCH AS PETER KING.

All this talk about Michale Jackson He is dead and can't defend himself. I love Michale and will miss him very much He tried to make this world a better place and not just with his music but in his actions as well What you do not seem to think about is that a person like Michale was so pure of heart that in a way he was Peter Pan He looked at the world and people with child like wonder The world will miss him I will miss him For Peter Pan has returned to Never Never Land Remember Michale Second Star To Right Straight On Till Morning With Love God's Speed You Are Loved

"don't forget that elvis also married his 13 year old first cousin"

Uh, that was Jerry Lee Lewis. No, not Jerry Lewis the actor, Jerry Lee Lewis, the rock musician.

Who are they mad at, Michael or the Media? People don't forget bad behavior of idols we just believe that when you have your day in court and you are found not guilty then that's it (it's your system) and it worked for Robert Blake. It is the non Christian hypocrits that cannot forgive nor forget. It also is in very bad taste (but something the conservatives like to do) to find the negative in something in order to curve the thinking of the weak minded. It's just like saying the deaths in Iraq were for a good cause, non of my deseased friends would agree with that.

Mr King's problem has nothing to do with MJ or the media coverage, his problem is a lot more serious. It seems that he has some pinned up anger for something that happened to him growing up. It doesn't take a PhD to see he needs help. It takes a victim to know a victim.

And have some respect. If not for Michael and his children (biological or not), have some respect for his mother.

He should be careful putting himself out there like he is, because karma is no joke. He needs to shut up before some of his own skeltons come out the closet. Ask Governor Sanford. He talked trash about Clinton and look what happen to him. So be very careful Petey because someone somewhere knows some of YOUR secrets.

  23. tblass

Such typical Republican hypocrisy. Odds are excellent that Peter King has enough skeletons in his own closet to start his own graveyard, if he is anything like his judgemental conservative cohorts. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone, and I can tell you it ain't that fat small minded pig of a congressman who most likely hasn't done one hundredth of the good for humanity that Michael Jackson has.

You want to honor somebody? Go honor the men and women who gave their lives on 911, so they could save as many as possible. Go honor the men and woman all over the world who give their lives to save a few, and to provide the blanket under which we sleep, or in this case praise MJ. Go honor people who gave something other than MONEY for crying out loud. So what he threw a few bucks to charity. That's a dime a dozen. I want to know if he ever sat with less fortunate kids without a camera on him. Did HE ever honor the troops? On his own terms? I don't know much about him other than his music sucked. All i know is he better be more important than God for a city, within a state that has NO MONEY, to hold this gargantuan memorial for him. I'm done. I've already wasted to much time on here.

  25. Tom Brown

No such thing as Karma TJ, only life. And with life, comes death. And it came to MJ. It wil come to you too. You know you're not perfect. Go look in the mirror. Think about everything bad you've done. To people and to yourself. You know its quite a bit too. So what does "karma" have in store for you?
