The same thing was done to Elvis, only difference was Elvis was in his coffin. What's the difference??

  2. Philipp Says:

Did you go to far by posting it?!
Come on, you now it's all about profit!

  3. jack Says:

who ever sold it to them has no respect and, OK has no respect for paying so much for this photo why didnt they get a simple 1 from google? just tryina make money of a dead man far out so stupid these people..@!

  4. t Says:

Oh its so sad that thousands will flock to see him 'in state' next week at the Staple Center in Los Angles.

  5. AG Says:

I think you guys are as bad as OK magazine for reposting this picture on the web. Let the man rest in peace. This is not the way millions of fans want to remember MJ. There is a new song we have out as a tribute to MJ, it features The Game and Chris Brown. Listen to it. That is the way to pay tribute to a great talent. He will surely be missed. REST IN PEACE MJ!! WE ALL LOVE YOU!!

  6. Shannen-Ashlea Says:

Thats a stupid image to put on a magazine cover! Me and my friends noticed it this morning and it was to much. Show some respect towards him! He had a bad life from abuse from his fatrther, being accused of child abuse and sexual abuse etc. I hope the Jackson family say something to stop images like this leeking onto the web and papers!

  7. Get real! Says:

Let's get real. Death is a fact, it comes to all of us, MJ was a public persona, so what if his picture has been posted for the world to see? These are the facts, folks! People have spoken against tabloid magazines and tv,yet they are the only ones reporting the truth at this point - the media as always, is sugarcoating the facts or not passing them along, and the rest of the celebrities that publicly made fun of MJ are now claiming him as one of their own and they just "lend him" to us - Please! Don't be such a hipocrite is all I can say about all these people who are now claiming to have loved this very strange and complicated human being.
Yes, he is dead and yes, we are sad that he died so young, but let's get real, we will all face this fact one day. I applaud this magazine for being courageous. PS: no one complained when pics of Brittney Spears being taken to the looney bin in an ambulance were spattered all over the tabloids and the internet. Equal coverage for ALL celebrities, black or white!

  8. get real! Says:

    To Shannen-Ashlea,

You hope the Jackson family says something to stop images like this? The Jackson family never said a word to stop this crazy rollercoaster ride this poor man was on, so his father abused him? Why did the Jackson family, his mother of all people NOT say anything at the time, why not stop it when it was happening? The Jackson family has no right to speak now, it is a little bit too late, the man is dead. They did not speak on his behalf when he was alive, what good will it be to MJ for this family to speak now?

you guys fucking suck for putting this picture up! the fuccking picure is not entertainment!fuck you!

  12. Dee Says:

I just came across the story about the cover "tribute"and I have to say. No matter if he was a public figure he was still and human being with flaws and failings. No one is perfect and that is what makes us human. It is a sad time for his family and close friends and to have this lasting memorial picture plastered for all the world to see shows just how little human life is valued. 500,000 dollars or 30 pieces of silver(not comparing MJ to jESUS either). But a betrayal of common decency for this man or anyone going to his death under any circumstances is a private thing no matter how public some people want to make it. But just remember whoever took this pic, karma will get you in end also. So enjoy your blood money and the cold comfort it gives you. God have mercy on your soul, you'll need it. OK

  13. Ocean Says:

if the picture was taken inside the ambulance then he was already dead if it was taken before, like an hour before then the picture was taken by the doc to can sell it later on an d MJ was still alive.
But oyu got screwed thats for sure!
500.000 dollars for a pic opf MJ dead?
    you msut be delirious
he was withotu breahgting and without heart beat since hours when they first put him in the ambulance.
MJ was unconscious with no heart beat and no respiration for 30 minutes befroe he begin to try ot foudn a phone to call 911.-
From what he said it took him another 30 minutes ot get a phone so by the time h get soemone to call 911, MJ was without life: heart beat and no breahting , sionce 60 minutes= one entire hour.
6 minutes alter the paramedic were there and spend 40 minutes trying to recuscitate MJ
thats 1 hour and 40 minutes plus time to get out of the ambnulnace and come inside the hosue an dos on.
then they have to leave the house with MJ body, so we are to 1 hour and 50 minutes to 2 hours.
So when that pic was taken, MJ had been withotu breahting and without heatrtbeat for 120 minutes = 2 hours.
Given that you are dead if oyu are nto given oxygen within 10 minutes, and dead if you are not rescusxitated withon 15-20 minutes wihtout heart beat, MJ was at that tiem totaly dead and thats why the apramedic ask the doc to declare his patient as dead, before they left the house.
When Michael jackson left the building he was dead.
That picture of him is a pic of Mj dead, with a oxygene pump in his mouth, but nobody that activate it.

  14. Johanna Says:

It's the same picture ET has been showing all week and no one said a thing, why all the outrage now?

  15. Betina Says:

It is apalling at least.. yet even more disheartening, is the thought of where he will be spending eternity. Why are we so obsessed with Michael's photo? with his death?? Why does a person with such celebrity have to die before the world over makes it a point to say "we loved"? Suddenly the doors of acceptance swing open! The people begin caring about his health, his children, his family... & backtracking to what "should have" & "could have" been done. The entirety of the coverage surrounding this man's death is fueled by nothing more than greed; quite effectively I might add. Somehow after a person is dead we feel that finally we are able to peer into places that have been unknown, & attempt to gain a deeper insight to a life that made little sense. I find his story to be sad & lonely- & if he died doped up on painkillers who could really blame him? To endure the scrutiny of the public eye; & get your grandest applause at the turn of your death. To be surrounded by people & ever alone... a heartwrenching reality I would say. Seemed he was still just a boy in many ways, & never really experienced the blessing of being free.

  16. Mark Says:

I'm sorry Jackson died, but the photo is legitimate news. It shows his last moments and is not degrading. Stop protecting me from what YOU think I shouldn't see. If it makes you uncomfortable then don't look at it. It reminds me of how we sanitized the Iraq war. There are people out there that don't understand the carnage of war and the huge amount of American blood spilled in Iraq because we make it nice and clean. Maybe if some people see their idol in this way they will think twice before abusing prescription drugs if that is what ends up being the cause of death. One of the major functions of mass media is to warn the public of dangers and thell the truth.

  17. darla Says:

How would you scumbags like it if your loved one was on the cover dead???

  18. RAYMOND Says:

U ALL DID BAD TO MICHEAL LEAVE HIM NOW AND LET HIM REST IN PEACE

  19. LaDi Da Says:

Uh, guys....look at that picture. Do you actually think that is Michael Jackson (at least him in recent years)? To me, it looks like a doctored up picture! The nose is incorrect (the nose pictured is less "streamlined" than in recent photoes and has more "meat"). His hair is not right and the forehead and coloring is off. Please...someone either duped OK or OK duped us....if it is his "real" picture, I find it in poor taste>

  20. XXXX I MISS U MJ XXXX Says:

  21. syakira Says:

  24. null Says:

no it not real now we are not showing that of him it been said he is alive then again they said his doctor did this then he didn't if he is alive let him rest.

  25. Doug Says:

What a society we are. We bitch and moan when the bodies of heroes of the war are not shown being loaded off of an airplane. Then we bitch when the body of a non hero, all be it a great entertainer "IS" shown. Are we bipolar? It is "NEWS" people. They would have "NO" problem showing you if you wound up looking like a well done chili burger after an accident. Case in point. Sites such as LiveLeak, Rotten, GoreGasm and so on. Like it or not, these photos "ARE" public property and "NOT" private property. The L.A. coroners office is staffed by public servants. Any attempt to bury, hide or destroy these photos is a crime. The Jackson family has "NO" right to these photos. Sad but true. They "ARE" public property and as such, it is only a matter of time before they are released.
