OMG you have to be kidding me as many times as that old bat has been married what ever she just didn't want to come I agree when Michael J did her birthday she didn't mind that she is still full of drama she wants the spotlight on her and twittering as to why she didn't make it. who cares no one wants to see her and now the Jacsons can see where she stands she has always been a selfish money grabbing drinking lush

I can understand why she wouldn't want to be there, where were all these so called "friends" when MJ really needed someone to look out for him? Some people hadn't seem him for years, but still classed him as a friend. In my opinion there were many hypocrites there. I hope Elizabeth Taylor has someone to comfort her. Rest in peace Mr M J Jackson.

I don't blame Ms. Taylor for not going. She's certainly not doing well over this, and she is not a young woman. To the poster Barbara, a birthday celebration and a funeral are two completely different things. My father recently died, and I chose not to fly up for the funeral because I would rather remember him alive. Everyone mourns in their own way, and personally, I think that the memorial ceremony was a bit over the top. I don't know if I would have been able to go myself.

This entire thing is ridiculous...Okay the man is dead...Yes, he was one of the best...But lets be honest not all of his songs were a hit...And he had some obvious personal issues...It's is probably for the best that he went home to the Lord...And isn't it kind of wrong that the President of the United States sent out a condolence to the Jackson family, but didn't send one to Farah Fawcett's family?? Reverse racisim much??!! She was an American icon also...

MJ was a great artist but hopefully we can get back to real news after today. There is a related post at http://iamsoannoyed.com/?p=2088

The Dame didn't mind "public whoopla" when MJ put on a costly (and televised) extravagansa for her 65th birthday or when he paid $2 million for her eighth wedding. In fact she sold photo rights to Hello and People magazines for that one. Her comments are a slap in the face to the beautiful people who WILL show up to memorialize Michael. Memorials are all about the departed, not the attendees. That may be Liz's REAL problem.
