Jeffrey Donovan stars on Burn Notice on the USA Network.
Bad segue alert: The actor may have been a little too lit up when he got behind the wheel last weekend - and got torched by police as a result.
He was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence in Miami Beach on Sunday, July 12. The 41-year-old was booked released hours later.

Talk about getting burned ... and issued a notice to appear in court. Sorry, we're all out of Jeffrey Donovan and Burn Notice jokes now, we promise.
According to the police report, Donovan said, "I really think I'm only borderline and not too drunk." That should play extremely well in court.
The arresting officer first noticed Donovan after hearing a tire screech behind me. Donovan's car swerved - to avoid hitting the police car.
When Jeffrey Donovan finally stopped, he didn't serve himself well when he said, "Sorry, I didn't see the red light or your stopped car."
Smelling booze, the officer asked Donovan if he had anything to drink and got this answer: "I had three drinks at the Fontainebleau."
Donovan flunked a field sobriety test and was taken into custody.
That's when the actor allegedly said, "The only mistake I made tonight was drinking Benadryl with three glasses of wine." Wow.

Jeffrey, if you read this: there are a whole lot of people who genuinely love your character and acting in Burn Notice (as we did in Touching Evil; yes, we remember it well). Don't be an idiot, don't make yourself famous by drinking and driving. Life is too damn short...
