I know Rachelle work for a long time in tv series, but it's obvious that Summit have chosen to do that because Bryce is more famous than Rachelle and would attract a bigger audience. It makes me sick to see the art of movies turned into a careless commercial business (it was always commercial, but they were commited to people and honest with the ideas).
Today studio executives and production companies would do anything to raise their profit. And that is not unusual, Twilight reached the big screen already with the intention to be a brainless teen movie not related to the book ambience.
Sucessful are the actors who can choose good scripts, theater plays and not be chained to the studios's greed. By the way, I love Bryce also, she is talented and sweet, I just think the studio gave an awful excuse that no one believe in it.

Summit, you have made the biggest mistake ever people now read these books with the characters from the movie in their heads and now you go and make a crackhead move like this. a 10 day scheduling overlap is not that bad. There is enough going on in Eclipse that you can shoot around it. The last thing you should do is force your hand with the actors in this franchise. these actors are Beloved by there fans and to change one is a Baaadddddd move. Rachelle Is and will alway be VICTORIA!!!!!! Bryce what's her name can go to Hell we don't want her and to me she looks to damn old. GET RACHELLE BACK WHO GAVE A DAMN WHO BRYCE'S F...CKING DADDY IS.

I was really shocked to hear that Summit Ent replaced Leferve as Victoria. Howard is an amazing actress but she is not Victoria. I will watch all of the Twilight Saga movies and the Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart films. I will not purchase or watch any other Summit Entertainment movies. They are greedy and stupid. They do not care about the Twilight Fans.

Oh come on!!!!! This is beyond stupid. It's 10 lousy days.. they can shoot around her character until she is available again. You can bet they would not do this to her if she had more star power, and was a bigger name in Hollywood. That's just sad that they are treating her like she is so disposable. I myself loved her portrayal and so want to see her continue on in the role. Yes Bryce is an amazing actor.. but don't rip us off of the original portrayal and watching Rachelle grow in the role. It's so exciting watching this new talent shine. Let her continue!!!!!! Plzzz for the luv of all that is so Twilight! ;)

Rachelle Lefevre is THE only actress who could possibly do justice to the role of Victoria. She is a fabulous actress and definitely has my complete support. Summit is unjustified and completely wrong to replace her with anybody, not just Bryce Dallas Howard, who also is a great actress. Rachelle should be allowed to keep her role and I seriously hope the folks at Summit realize what mistake they have made and decide to keep Rachelle in the role.

Rachelle did a magnificent job in Twilight as the super-scary Victoria. Her performance was intriguing, and I was looking forward to seeing her bring out the character in Eclipse, which is about Victoria and her vampire army. It is sad that the studio has taken whatever issues exist between them and Rachelle to the extreme of replacing her. It may just backfire with fans.

i think that if rachelle wanted to be in the film, she should have made sure that the shooting schedules would have worked. not assumed that they would work around her. i find it hard to believe that summit just decided one day to recast her. i'm sure that there were meetings and such. she could have dropped out of the other movie if eclipse had been so important. just sayin'

If Rachelle Lefevre took it upon herself to commit to another project full well knowing her 10 day commitment coincides with the Eclipse commitment, she should NOT have taken the job. It is not Summit's obligation to re-schedule their itinerary because an actor is not available. It is the responsibility of the actor to make sure they are available for any and all times during the 3 months of shooting. If Rachelle were truly committed to playing Victoria, she would have made herself available to Summit when they needed her. I wish Bryce Dallas Howard the best of luck in the role.

Summit has to have a screw lose to change Rachelle Lefevre she was great in that part first time around. I am losing interest in the Twilight Saga and this last stunt may be last straw. I can't believe that Summit is even considering changing anyone it just changes the chemistry and makes Summit look stupid. It seems a little bit petty for summit to drop an actress because of a ten day overlap in schedules. Rachelle IS Victoria and this was her chance to shine in this role. to take it away from her is cruel and i am dissapointed in summit for doing this, seems a bit back stabbing to me.
