Demi Lovato Speaks on Career, Fashion and More
As the anti-Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato doesn't make news by posing for lewd photos or milking the death of Michael Jackson for attention.
Instead, she simply makes fun music and stars on the TV show Sonny with a Chance.
During a recent interview with WWD.com, Lovato said the acting is just a means to pay for the singing, however. She's not Lindsay Lohan (thank goodness) or Hilary Duff; Demi isn't caught between professional worlds.
Here's what else the lovely teenager had to say:
On her career: Acting is just kind of a way to pay for the singing. I mean, not anymore. Acting now is like a new challenge, new hobby, a new passion even.
On fashion choices: [I] wear and do what I want. Sometimes, when I want to wear a really hot skirt or something, I think, ‘Would you want your little sister to wear that skirt in two years? No.
On her age: I wish I was older a lot of the time. Because I feel like an adult and I’m working like an adult, but then I wake up and I’m 16 and it’s weird.

really stan?? yeah i've bothered to check and she's done nothing. She's not dating anyone in their 20's if she was the media would be all over it just like miley, She's and up-and-coming star so the media is on her more. duh. I'm not dissing miley I do like her but don't compare demi to her. they're worlds apart. Thank you very much.

She is just like Miley Cyrus. She dates guys in their 20's, and if you would bother to check you will find she had done things just as bad as Miley. She just isn't as famous so she doesn't have her life picked apart like Miley does, and therefore you never any bad stuff. It's not that they don't happen, it's that you don't here about it.
