Andrea McNulty Accuses Ben Roethlisberger of Sexual Assault
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, winner of Super Bowls XL and XLIII, is named as a defendant in a lawsuit filed by a woman in Nevada.
According to online court records, a defamation lawsuit was filed in Washoe County, Nev., on Friday. Andrea McNulty is listed as the plaintiff.
Details of the suit were not available late Monday. Ben Roethlisberger was one of nine defendants listed in the online court docket report.
Sources say McNulty claims Roethlisberger asked her to come to his hotel room in July, 2008 - and then forced her to have sex with him.
An employee at Harrah's Hotel in Reno, McNulty is suing for sexual assault and battery, false imprisonment and infliction of emotional distress.
The football star's attorney released a statement to several media outlets confirming that Ben is accused of sexual assault by Andrea McNulty.
David Cornwell denied Ben sexually assaulted anyone, and said he was confident this would be proven, with the following statement:
"This weekend Andrea McNulty served Ben Roethlisberger with a civil complaint accusing him of sexually assaulting her in July 2008. Ben Roethlisberger has never sexually assaulted anyone; especially Andrea McNulty."
"The timing of the suit and the absence of a criminal complaint and investigation are compelling evidence of the absence of criminal conduct. If an investigation is commenced, Ben will cooperate fully and Ben will be fully exonerated."

I a guy from the 'burg and a Steeler fan. I have heard stories about Ben being arrogant (he's 26 and makes millions who wouldn't be) and a skin hound but never anything about assault. My guess and its only that, is that there was consensual sex and afterwards Ben told her to "get the f*ck outta my room you pig." Is it assault or rape no just being rude and stupid but she knew what she was going into the room for, it just didn't turn out the way she wanted. Ben be a gentleman and thank them, send flowers the next day and be on your way to the next conquest.

This is ridiculous. In her statement she said that Ben called down to the front desk cause his sound system on his TV wasn’t working. According to her she went up to his room and I quote “to fix the TV herself” cause there was no technician available. When she went to leave the room, that’s when Ben SUPPOSEDLY violated her. She is a desk clerk not a TV technician, WTF would she know about fixing a TV. That is one of many red flags raised. She never filed criminal charges? I know women who were raped and violated and the first thing they did was either call the police, go to the hospital, or file criminal charges ASAP. And those women never considered waiting a year before exacting their revenge. Another red flag that comes to mind(bare with me) O.J. was found innocent for killing his wife and her lover in a criminal suit. Later O.J. was found guilty in a civil court and he was under oath. Here’s my point, If O.J. went under oath in a civil matter as he did in criminal court,
