im a so a for team moyer/bill. twilight is so last year. and to many people are obessed with it. and its so over rated. i mean come on. twilight is just some trend for girls to follow and be obessed with. find something new to follow already. and the only reason y anyone votes for team edward is bc they think rob looks hot in twilight, but come on be honest did any of u like him and think he was hot in harry potter too? if not ur just following the whole damn trend.

Hahaha, OMG all the Stephen Moyer haters need to take a CHILL pill! It's quiet obvious all the people going off about the comments are young and clueless. This whole Twilight Vs True Blood is pointless. There is no comparison. Twilight is for pre-teens to tweens. True Blood is for adults. They are both completely different and each have their own qualities. Of course Robert is going to appeal to the younger generation. No teen in their right mind would drool over Stephen Moyer (a bit too close to their own dad's age). I personally prefer Stephen. Hmmmm I like them dark and broody. I am a fan of both but I do hope that New Moon is released is is a far better quality produciton than twilight. To say I was dissapointed when I watched it is an UNDERSTATEMENT.

Okay...first of all...
Twilight is its own version of the world of vampires. And anyone who is here for any brain for vampires knows why someone like Stephen who plays the classic vampire Bill would call someone like Robert who plays the sweet and sparkly Edward a pussy. I mean, I would honestly take the traditional vampire over the rock hard sparkly vampire any day. I thought vampires were the best thing ever WAYYY BEFORE TWILIGHT was ever even a fleeting thought in the back of Mz. Meyers mind.
And also, Stephen is NOT ugly. And it wouldn't matter anyways. Yeah, vampires are supposed to be glamourus, NOT SPARKLY. So when you all say TB is smutty, thats how REAL vampires are. Read any real vampire book, you can't find a good vampy book that doesn't involve sex. The whole premise of the vampire is a higher level of passion that cannot be reached as a mortal. Its not looks that matter with vampires, its the passion.
And two, for chists sake, you all drool over Rob as Edward. Twilight was a hit wayy before the movie, which btw sucked (no pun intended), anyone could have ended up as Edward and just because they got the part you would have been kissing his feet. So don't pretend to be all up in arms because silly Rob got insulted. Sigh. You know. I like vampires. I like Stephen, and I like EDWARD. I don't like the idea that someone took vampires and made them look soft and loveable.
I agree that compared to real vampires Edward is somewhat of a pussy. I don't like Rob. I don't like the Twilight movie. So you all go have your hissy fits because someone who knows what a real vampire is called someone else a pussy, then fine you do that. To each his own.
Once upon a time a real vampire named Bill Compton killed Edward Cullen. We had a party with Marianne. It was great.

Wow. If you take Stephen Moyer calling Robert Pattison a pussy, you really don't have much self esteem, do you?
First of all,I read the Twilight series, and frankly, what's so special about it? Vampires that sparkle? Wow, I'm scared. The reason why most people read the series is because of the whole shining-night-sweeping-me-off-my-feet concept that moost teens these days wish for. (Not that its a bad thing, pease don't take that the wong way.) So of course when Rob came around to play Edward the Twilight fan cults -- yes I men it, CLUTS -- swarmed around him like a horde of flies does a pile of poop.
True Blood, on the other hand, is a series that really drives into the traditional vampire genre -- oh yes, there's genre, in my mind at lest. And you know what's cool about it: You get the same shape-shifter and vampire figt over the human; there's still telapathy; and you don't have to worry about the Vampires stepping out into sunshine and sparkling like a sugar-coated farie!
You know, I think most people love Edward so much because he's a shiny toy and people -- girls mostly -- are constantly facinated with shiny things.
Stephen go ahead an say what you want about Rob -- Rob, go ahead and say what you want about Stephen. They're just words, and they're no changing what I think.
GIVE ME VAMPIRES -- but hold the sparkles.

Okay..calm down people.
First of all, the whole baseline of this argument seems to be that Rob is wayy more famous and better than Stephen. Can I ask you all a question? How so? What makes Rob and Edward so much better than Stephen and Bill. And if any of you were anything other than a bunch of Twi-cult fans, then you would know that Bill Compton is based off the real traditional vampires. You know, the ones that don't sparkle? And what the hell does it matter how old you are? Look at the dracula movies. The guy is freaking ancient and he's playing a vampire.
The only reason Rob is even so popular is because he got the leading role as Edward. No body gave a fuck about Robert Pattison before he got to play the sparkly 17-year-old vampire. I mean, come on, he is NOT even that hot. I'd take Vampire Bill over CUllen anyday.
Another thing, you all seem to be really hammering on the fact that True Blood has a lot of smutt in it. Um, hello? Wake up to the real vampire world people. Thats what vampires do. Seduce and kill. They use their bodies just as readily as any other weapon they have. Read any real vampire books. You will find smutt because sex is part of what vampires are best at. So stuff that up your snobby twilight asses.
Twilight was not that good, and True Blood was around wayy before. Read the Sookie Stackhouse novels. Maybe then some of you can learn what a real vampire actually is. And by the way, no, they don't sparkle like a some peice of rock candy in the sun. You all say Bill is the knock off poser? Reality check, Edward is the poser. He doesn't even have fangs! O.o

Robert Pattinson is a mentally retarded ass. And so is Edward, who is a disgrace to every vampire lore in existence. Seriously. He SPARKLES IN THE SUNLIGHT.
Stephen is a far better actor, and his portrayal of a vampire is much more realistic than anything Pattinson could ever hope to accomplish.

Ok first things first. Robert Pattinson can't act. Another thing. Stephan has a way bigger role than Rob. And OH WAIT! compare twilight to TB. One thing sparkling vamps? Thats just gay. Another thing in true blood there is real violence and not just gay ass cut to next scene crap. And they actually do things in TB instead of dry hump. So Stephan is right and if you dont like it grow up.

I love vampire movies...I did not get Twilight and couldn't understand what the big fuss is all about. Why does it look like bella and edward had problems speaking...I mean they mumbled all throughout the movie and was incredibly annoying. Maybe Stephen does have a point. Now I love True Blood especially this second season. I like Bill but I'm team Eric all the way.

Team Moyer for sure. Stephen has the assuredness and sexual appeal that comes from someone with a bit more maturity - which is far more attractive than a young "fang" fresh out of school.
Each to their own, I guess...but Stephen Moyer and True Blood all the way for me.

Personally, I think people REALLY need to get a grip,
I'm a fan of both, but cmon! Twilight is mostly for youngsters and True Blood is wayyyyy more 'grown up' therefore they're in different leagues of their own, it's like comparing Underworld with Blade what's the point they're so different!!! It depends on your own personal taste...
They are both clearly different types of vampire entertainment So neither one is better than the other.
So is there really any need to slag Stephen & his girlfriend off?? Noooooooo! Jesus! He's a great actor and is loved by many TB fans, as is Robert, so whyyy whyyy insult him like that? It's sad and pathetic really. Get. Grip! It's Fiction! Entertainment!!!

Stephen's comments were meant for Robert Pattinson character Edward Cullen, and I'll agree with him that Edward Cullen is a pussy.. It's ridiculous to get all worked up about it twilighters. My personal opinion (no offence intended) is that Twilight is the "diet coke" of vampire stories in general. I'm not saying that it's bad, it's actually that there is something for everybody. I like it more real and un-censured, so true blood is according to me; a fucking master-piece. Allan Ball is btw a genius.

Stephen Moyer is totally right! Pattinson is a cutie and has all of the teenage chicks screaming for him but Moyer exudes sexy vamp. Stephen is for more of the mature audiences. I think Robert Pattinson is ugly, messy, and is "dating" a dull lifeless human exsistance (Kristen Stewart). Stephen Moyer is engaged to his beautiful Oscar winning True Blood co-star, Anna Paquin. I'd say that after the 2nd season finale of True Blood, Moyer will be getting more roles and he is what Hollywood has been missing for the past couple of years. Pattinson IS a pussy. He's nothing but a feast for 11-25 year old girls/women. Moyer is for the grown ass women.

Everyone needs to grow up and get a life. Both shows are both a fantasy show, they are not real.
Moyer and Patterson are both good actors at what they do. Who are we to judge what they say about each other, we are not in that line of work. Yeah Robert Patterson is a young and handsome actor but who knows what will happen to him after the last Twilight Saga films are made and to be honest, after reading all the books i wouldnt of pick Robert Patterson to be the leading man anyways, far too pretty. I think True Blood is a good series, if you read the books then im sure you will understand.

True Blood is a much better and factual portrayal of vampires. And what has Robert Pattinsons looks got to do with him being called a pussy? What Moyer says about being a slim fast version is very true.
There is more to life than Twilight, which by the way, is a very poor film.

I actually love true blood. I think its twilight for adults. I do think it was a little mean to call rpatz a pussy cuz he is so freaking sexy but i can see where hes coming from, its a lot more graphic in true blood but the thing is twilight is set for a younger audenince thats why they have to tone down the violence and sex. I still think both twilight and true blood are great! True blood is for people who want hot vamp sex and more violence but still a love story, and twilight is for the people who love a great senstive love story thats more toned down.
