I would choose Team Edward over the other guy any day. Stephen seems to cocky( no offense to his acting. True Blood and Stephens acting may be perfectly fine. Just not my cup of tea.

I think even Robert Pattinson has proved that he is not really the highschool twilight movie type...it's his real-life demeanor and artsy quiet intellect that I think really holds his popularity and most interest. Stephen Moyer watched your shows the vamps are hokey it's pretty much a smutty show and HBO's way of capturing all the pervs that need another series with boobs, sex and s&m w/biting...I"ll take a love story with a hot guy any day...Oh and Robert does an american accent better then YOU!

These comments are all jokes, right? The Twilight movie was awful. Boring as anything. Stephen Moyer was joking but there's some truth to his joke. True Blood has badass vampires but Twilight? Those are pretty wimpy "vampires." I don't think you can even call them vampires.

Stephen, You arean ugly vampire. Vampires are supposed to be beautiful at least attractive. So, I don't know how you got the part. I was just about to rent the True Blood first season and get HBO to continue to watch your show but I can see you are not worth my time, trouble or money! I'll take Rob Pattinson anyday. So, keep your fangs shut when it comes to Rob P. or Twilight. Rob's career will far out last yours.

Normally I don't put my lil two cents in such stories such as this which is CLEARLY GOSSIP and I honestly get the impression - these media tabloid sites be insigating shit and twisting something Stephen Moyer said in an interview around to make it look like as if he is bashing Edward Cullen/Robert Pattinson -
Has it ever occur to any of you DIE HARD Robert Pattinson/Edward Cullen fans that Stephen Moyer was just joking around and meant no harm by that comment???
And I know am digging my very own grave here when I say this but come on! Let's all be straight up honest with each other here and honestly admit to the fact that Edward Cullen and the whole Twilight Saga Series movies and their books are really GEARED towards the TEENAGE AUDIENCE...can you really put Edward Cullen & Twilight Saga Series movies in the same category as Bill Compton & the True Blood television series and even the book series - which is SO OBVIOUSLY GEARED towards a more mature (18+) audience...
I honestly think by comparing Edward to Bill or Bill to Edward is really dumb on behalf of these tabloid sites who try to stir drama between us true fans who happen to love and adore either both these actors or even just one of them...
I think you guys needa lay off Stephen Moyer and look at this whole situation from the outside and if you do so - it will be very clear that these gossip media sites is tryin to stir a pot of drama and trouble amongst us true fans...

I agree it is clearly not a big deal! He said a joke that was the truth. I have read all the twilight books. I enjoyed the concept but let's face it they were poorly written and definitly for 12 year olds. The twilight movie made the book even worse and the second could not get any worse so it will be great. Robert has even said he's embarressed to play Edward and I can see why. He has these crazy tweets runniung after him down the street and risks his life to get away from your freaks! As for Stephen Moyer I love him I think he's sexy. He is a man not a boy kids so I understand that your not attracted to him. Go to IMDB look at all the movies and credits Stephen has been in over his career. And let's see what Pattinson can do after the Twilight movies are gone. I wish it was over now!!!!

Lost Sleep Over That Comment???? OH PLZ!!!! Trust me Robert Pattinson is not as weak as you all think he is...I am sure he knows he has talent and knows that comment Stephen Moyer made was a harmless joke - you see them two battling it out via interviews or in the public eye??? These are two professional actors who know how to handle comments like this and I honestly do not believe Robert Pattinson is breaking a sweat over a comment which is clearly a harmless joke - believe me the man is a GROWN ASS MAN with alot of self confidence in himself and his true talent as an actor - true he plays a lil boy vamp on Twilight but trust..he is more man than Edward is and with manhood comes self confidence and he is a true professional actor who don't let such petty comments rub him the wrong way - not like you guys...clearly you all needa take a chill pill and let Robert fight his own battles and the fact that he has not said anything about this comment - atleast not to my knowledge (not that I stalk him like some of you do)...the fact that I havent heard or seen any retallilation on his behalf on that comment clearly shows he is a true professional actor who don't let such petty comments get to him as he know he has alot goin for him and so does Stephen Moyer - and nother thing lay off Moyer he got more acting experience under his belt than newbie Pattinson...either way none of them is hating on each other - the only ones doing the hating here is you hardcore die hard going a LIL TOO EXTREME for other folks personal taste fans of Pattinson who I heard just mobbed the shit outta him the other day - one thing I can say bout us Moyer fans - atleast we don't stalk and mob Moyer to death as some of you guys done to Pattinson...

True Blood isn't that great....the blood is ok and the accents sucks and the fangs are ok..the makeup sux....robs portrayal of vampires is different and that is what people have been waiting for the buffs who love vamps and werewolves. rob isn't that good looking out of character..peeps need to chill out.

Ummm, guys it was his opinion. Everyone is open to how they feel about other people. I have had enough of all of the Robert Pattinson stuff. Hello, he isn't the only vamoire in the series. Hell, techically he isn't even a vampire. Anyways, I LOVE Twilight, the whole saga. But people have blown it out so much. Then they bring in Rob, who I might add looks nothing at all like Edward Cullen. And everyone loves him. News Flash : He looked a hell of a lot better when he was in Harry Potter, four years ago. Then he was actually hot. But again, why does it even matter wether or not he was called a pussy? We don't know him. So we have no idea. And we probably never will get to know him cause he runs away from his fans. Again, why does everything always come down to Team Jacob or Team Edward or Team Switzerland. Why would you want to be Ball when you could be Esme, Carlisle sparkles too. I am on Jasper's team. And people talk him down all the time. I don't care, why cause I don't know him. Just leave it. We don't know the real Robert Pattinson, so we can't really comment on wether he is or isn't a pussy. Until further notice I am on Team Twilight (excluding Edward and Jacob. No offense to any fans or to the guys themseleves. Both are brilliant actors. But they are....made to be what every girl wants, and who every guys wants to be. And I don't like that.)

1)I WAS going to watch True Blood-now I won't EVER & I know Im not alone in that!
2)I don't believe for a second it was intended to be a "harmless joke".
3)Yes of course the man is untitled to his opinion & to express it in public even, but.....
4)Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD.
5)However, you can always give your opinion about someone or something without being vicious, derogatory, disrespectful or offensive. It's just bad manners period.
6)A little lesson I taught my kids on that:
Think before you speak:
A)If it isn't true(fact-not opinion), don't say it.
B)If it isn't nice, don't say it.
C)If it isn't helpful, don't say it.
Afteral l" it is better to be silent & thought a fool than to open your mouth & remove all doubt." (don't remember who said that)
7)Did any of you stop to think that maybe Stephanie's vampires (the "vegetarian" ones) were perhaps the strongest of all the vampires BECAUSE they DON'T give in to their thirst or blood-lust?? It takes a hell of a lot to walk away from something that is seriously easy to give in to(sex,drugs,$,blood,sin,whatever) & do something different, something unpopular even.
8)FYI Stephanie Meyer did NOT write Twilight for teens. She wrote it for herself & her sister (both adults) & hadn't even thought about having it published until her sister pushed her on it. Try getting your facts straight.
9)A good percentage of the Twilight audience (books & movies) is adults-male & female.
10)while what happened to Rob here in NYC recently was sadly ridiculous, it was a small population of teenage girls behaving that way. (ahem! Where were there parents?) You can't blame all of Rob's fans for that or hold them all accountable for it. Trust me, many of us wanted to take the matter into our own hands. He wouldn't even have to pay us to be his new security guards & we'd probably do a better job than those big beefy guys who got paid for in effect letting the girls jump on Rob.
Now, all that being said, Im not even going to bother insulting whatshisname. Some day he may just grow up yet.

What Stephen Moyer say is so true! Those who actually supports Edward Cullen in this matter apparently don't watch True Blood. Because to me, True Blood is MUCH MUCH MUCH more realistic about the life of a vampire. Vampire drinks blood and they are vicious, that's 2 factors of what a REAL VAMPIRE is. Not some animal-blood-suckers-to-avoid-killing-humans-because-humans-is-their-acquaintances

Watched True Blood once. Thought was okay for adults, but no kids. Moyer must feel threatned by Rob. Why else did he put him down. The first person who said probably his wife, Mother, Daughters were watching anything with Rob in it. I look all day and night long for anything thing with Rob in it. He has something special that Moyer does not have. Sex appeal and talent, lots of talent!

British Scott Baio? Hmm well I've now seen 5 of Roberts movies and as a 26 yr old saying this (not 17) Rob is an amazing actor... Dare I say best actor of the under 25 set... Go watch "little ashes" and tell me what other 21 year old (the age he was at the time) can play that part as well as him? No one. Period.
