You guys need to chill. I'm a huge RPattz & Twilight fan. I'm also a huge True Blood fan. He's not calling out Rob personally (I believe) but rather his vampire portrayal. And he is right btw. I love the vampires on Twilight but they are a bit anemic in their vegetarian rated PG 13 portrayal. The vampires on True Blood are more deadly and ruthless and rated R. That's it. Come off the ledge.

First off True Blood would not even be "somewhat" of a hit if it weren't for Twilight. As for Stephen Moyer, what he called Rob is unforgiveable. Ok Moyer, let's take the gloves off. Parden the pun but you drew first blood, here it goes. Your show needs blood, guts, explicit sex scenes and ugly vampires just to get people to watch it. I watched it once and turned the channel. Twilight is a love story, no guts or gore. Just great actors and a great story. Not to mention the hottest guy in the world. A suggestion to Moyer, watch twilight and try to learn something from Rob Pattinson, how to be a real actor. I don't see hollywood or the fans beating your door down like they are to Robert. Now go drink a slim fast or a diet coke and try not to choke on it. I know after the Twilight fans start on you and boycot your show you will be lucky if your not fired.

Liked the books, didn`t love the movie as much. I`m not that big of a Twilighter, but I still side with R-Pattz/Edward here. They say he was talking about Edward, I don`t care. YOU JUST WISH YOU WERE AS HOTT AND POPULAR AS R-PATTZ OR EDWARD IS. One fan of yours is equal to 100 fans of RObert Pattinson. And I`m not even a tween who`s supercrazed and in love with him.

I have to wholeheartedly second s's post. I had to ask myself "who the h-- is this Moyer cat?" I have watched a couple episodes of TB, and I'm not wildly impressed with Harris' vampires.
One point of interest, that may have already come up, is that I understand Bill Compton doesn't stick around in the books, and Bella ends up with Edward, so like Will Farell said about Matt Lauer (sp?), Moyer "can suck it!"

I don't think twilight is the best movie in the world but comparing to true blood (the HBO drama - not the book)twilight is like a masterpiece...

People, people..chill out! If you watch Stephen Moyer's interviews, he is just kidding. (British people joke like that, just like when R.Pattinson jokingly says he has a "crush" on K.Stewart...they are joking!!! He is a great actor and so is Robert Pattinson. True Blood is a fantastic show and the Twilight series is great too...they're both my fav! Stephen was just making a joke and the media takes it and gets alllllll of you riled up!!! Apparently they succeeded. Oh, and stop with all the Team this and Team that...it's for 12 year olds!

thanks to this comment I will never watch true blood again. Which won't be hard because personally I think the show sucks!!! I was told last years was much better and I didn't watch any of last season so I thought I would give it a chance glad I won't be wasting my time. I think this dumbass probably just cost the show big time. There are too many Twilight fans for that show to do any good now.

EVERYBODY CALM DOWN!
Anyone who has seen or read interviews with Stephen knows that he was just joking around. It’s very obvious. This is the guy who said when asked if he was a vampire who would he bite, and he said that since in their vampire word, the ones who taste the best are babies and virginal girls, so he would like to take a little nibble of his daughter and that was followed with a very serious “Just don’t put them in the microwave for too long”
He was just being funny
And I think it’s rather hilarious that people have just now read this since this article when he said that was out in May, LOL!
