I agree Robert P is very very HOT and I think Kristen is very pretty, they would make a cute couple. I hope that if they did get together and then if they broke up it wouldn't ruin the movies yet to come. Witch ever they decide it's their business and why does everybody have to be in it? I personally wouldn't want the whole world in my business all the time. That's why celebrity relationships don't usually last is because they have no privacy. I personally wish that their were stronger laws against the paparazzi. I wouldn't mind having the money to travel and live comfortably but I wouldn't want it if I had to be famous because I like my privacy.

I was not a Twi fan until recently and then only because I really liked Roberts performance. I researched him by watching candids and interviews to figure out who he was. Rob is not a player. He was a shy, insecure inexperienced with love sweet young man when he met Kristen. He has stated that he admired Kristen for her body of work before he met her. He really liked her and got to know her as a friend first. Then she fell for him and her ego boosting praise and advice during the shooting of Twilight helped him to fall in love with her...possibly for the first time.
He fell fast and hard in love or infatuation with her. All the video footage and interviews supports this. She may have been platonic friends with her "boyfriend" Michael but there is nothing there more than puppy love. Nothing like the intense chemistry on and off screen she has with Robert.
Robert was told he had to appear to be a sexy unattached guy and to stay away from Kristen as she was jail bait. He is an admittedly celibate guy--a good Catholic boy and was hence set free to just be friends with her. He did not expect to be attracted to her even though she looked like a girl and child like. He fell for her personality and her obvious adoration for him. The chemistry was there a the first screen test and because he kept his distance, continued. Then after it was done filming, they did the promotion world-wide together and consequently, spent more time together. Summit was worried she would be a bad influence on him and ruin his sexy guy image so the boyfriend thing (as if Robert would want to share a girl) was rolled out. He may have talked himself out of liking her due to her age and her having more experience in the romance department than him. He admitted early on that she is intimidating and tough.
There is a clip of them at MTV Awards that has him denouncing his marriage proposals to her and if you watch the complete clip---unedited---when they think they off camera, he looks forlorn and sick afterward and he and Kristen exchange meaningful smiles and looks. One video on You Tube "I think that she knows" shows the deep feelings they have for one another as does "Love Stoned" and "I found you American mouth".
Robert was on a British press interview admitting to be a devout Catholic and saving himself for the right girl. At the Twilight Premiere he admits to being celibate (asexual). He is a late bloomer who has been brought up to think who you share your body and soul with has ramifications and meaning. Summit has expedited the movies as he has changed from angel faced boy to handsome virile man and because the next step for them is marriage NOT just fooling around due to his moral convictions.
Kristen does not seem to be as sweet or nice as he is and does not like her fans or privacy invasion. She comes off tough on the outside but is really sweet on him inside and he comes off sweet on the outside but really has high principles and restraint. Her friend Michael is a boy, Robert is a man who she met when he was a insecure, immature silly, sweet boy. He has grown up fast this past year and hopefully does not let his sex drive allow him to hook up with a girl who does not have the same values, beliefs, moral compass and decency as he does with out being sure of her.
Summit should let them promote the idea of being friends and celibate before marriage like TWILIGHT does. Perhaps that is the explanation for the mega hit box office smash. A movie that promotes love and abstinence won. Our kids have been sexed up enough by Hollywood and the left in this country.
Hollywood's mantra of "If it feels good do it" has broken homes, added to the number of unwanted pregnancies, abortion, sexually transmitted diseases, sex as a hobby and game and ruined our once wholesome country's image. Hollywood and the "values" of the liberals have made America look like an evil culture to the Islamic world and worthy of destroying.
Perhaps Robert Pattinson could be a role model to the youth of the world and be congratulated for conducting himself so outstandingly under incredible pressure and perusal instead of hiding their real life love story that is platonic-at the moment.
With that said, life is short...if you meet your soul mate---go for it. Love is all that matters.

I think the reason there not saying there in love or whatever they are is because of the media. The media needs to backoff of them and let them have there relationship. I think they would make a great couple and the media should just leave them alone.

Kristen needs a PR manager and to be nicer. Just because she considers herself a serious actress does not mean that she does not have to be nice to the fans and cultivate new ones. She comes off like she is doing a favor to appear in public or sign autographs. Robert is always so sweet and actually knows what his responsibilities are. THere are always wackos, but Kristen behaves with such animosity towards the public and groups that one wonders why she got into acting. She is shy and uncomfortable in most intervies. Often she is rude and flip in her remarks. Taylor and Rob could teach this minor actress a few things in behaving with class and humor. Someone should tell Kristen that if she can't handle the heat-- stay away from Hollywood and fame. While you are at it, leave Robert alone and let him find a nice girl.
Kristen will have no fans, no following, no movie offers and no man if she continues to act so oddly, smoke bongs publicly, talk like a raunchy trashy girl and refuse to behave with some grace, charm and maturity. Twit.

In the interest of fairness, Kristen may have had some nasty threats or scares with fans AS Rob had many and explains why she acts so uptight in public. However, MOST fans of Twilight are smart and nice. It is hard to have to hide your romance publicly. They may just be friends as both are so young to fall in love and although she would have been willing to be more deeply involved, I believe he was not at first interested in a romantic relationship. He liked her as a friend, knew she was young and knew he was immature. She won him over with her adoring looks, praise and shared movie experience. He was ripe for the plucking and very innocent AS HE SAID in multiple interviews.
Kristen built his ego up and made him feel the emotions of young love for the movie. She fell for him when he was not famous or rich. Taylor, I am expressing an opinion based on interviews, comments, video evidence and radio conversations. Michael is her friend and was touted only after Rob and Kristen met and the studio was concerned with bad PR.
They wanted the girls to go crazy for a sympathetic single guy who was pining for the girl. What guy with moral convictions would want to share a girl?
Nothing happened with these two until after the movie wrapped and it grossed 85Million in its opening weekend. Then Rob started talking about how "amazing" Kristen is and they were allowed to tour together. Kristen has been in love with Robert from the screen test.
He was too but waited to be sure it was not just the movie. Plus she was 17 and he was 22 when they met. He was told by the director to stay away from her as he would go to jail.

My explanaton for posting so much lately is to inform folks and especially Twi-fans to the real 411 so hopefully they will back off of this sweet guy and give him some air. He is more famous than the Beatles and is a young shy guy to handle being suddenly famous.
Additionally, just like all of us, Rob takes bad pics and sometimes looks run down and not as good as he could. He swears, smokes and drinks but he is a gentle soul and endearing. He had traveled a lot during this past year and was run down plus love sick and lonely.
He puts mousse in his hair that makes it look matted (he is not a hairstylist and it gave him dandruff like most products that have alcohol do. The more he was chased and screamed out, the more this shy sensitive guy got even more shy and withdrawn. He is a funny quirky guy and people fell in love with him anyway when he was himself instead of confident Edward. Rob admitted to liking Kristen BEFORE he even met her--through her movie "Into the Wild". Their chemistry was electric from the start and because they are good actors who are attractive.
I was not a Twi fan until recently. I saw how different Pattinson was on interviews and real life and how insecure and honest Rob Pattinson behaved at Comic Con. So, I was curious about who the real guy was and did some research. Look at his interviews during Harry Potter...he was shy and innocent then too.
Summit and Hollywood are about making money. They want this rather intellectual, boring and decent guy to be seen as a hot single player. He is a romantic sweetie and not interested in one night stands with strangers. He has stated that at Twi Premier in Italy.
