so, Perez can make comments to others that he himself would call defamatory and this is freedom of speech? no one deserves to get physically assaulted, but on the other hand, no one needs to be treated the way he verbally assaults others.

Sorry, but *why* exactly are we supposed to care about Perez Hilton? He is an ugly, nasty, whiny, snivelly little man who has accomplished absolutely nothing in life other than being famous for....? Maybe he can use the $25k towards a downpayment on a new personality.

What Perez says most of the time is hurtful, celebraties can only take so much from him until they attack back. He barely got a black eye, Perez is just being a little baby about this whole thing
