An encounter with the Black Eyed Peas early this morning in Canada left Perez Hilton assaulted and calling for help via Twitter, according to the blogger.
Instead of calling Toronto police, Perez Hilton appears to have used his TMobile Sidekick to go on Twitter and get his followers to call the cops for him.
He posted this Tweet for help a few hours ago: “I’m in shock. I need the police ASAP. Please come to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel now. Please.”
Then: “I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.”
Then: "Still waiting for the police. The bleeding has stopped. I need to document this. Please, can the police come to the SoHo Met Hotel."
Then: "I spoke to my lawyer. I really need to talk to the authorities. Please come to the SoHo Met Hotel. Have called the police. Need them here."
The cops eventually did show up, and are reportedly investigating.
What actually happened between these two remains unclear.
From will.i.am's account, Hilton was rude to Fergie and will.i.am confronted him. Hilton then called will.i.am a f*ggot and a Black Eyed Peas fan beat Hilton up.
Hours later, Will.I.am created his own Twitter account of his own to respond to Hilton's accusations, writing his side of the story: "i just made a twitter account because it isnt cool for someone to blame you and blast you with lies..."
will.i.am then linked to a response video where he denied ever hitting the blogger (below, be forewarned in watching it that it contains graphic language).
“I was the one that came to him with respect, and he was the one who called me a f*ggot outside the club," will.i.am said in the video. “Sounds like somebody wants mad attention and is not really concerned about his health.”
“Shame on you, shame on your behavior, and that’s just messed up."
Perez Hilton responded, saying: “There are multiple witnesses. You can deny all you want. The truth is the truth and I am telling the truth.”

I believe Perez. I am sure wil i am took advantage of having his "posse" there to do his fighting for him. So stereotypical. I would have liked it better if it was just Perez and wil i am, so Perez could kick his a@@! The Peas are no longer on my play list. Time to put them in the same pile as Chris "beat the women down" Brown.

PEREZ HILTON is such a HYPOCRITE and a LIAR. First he said Will.I.Am beat him up and now he claims it was actually his manager! Secondly he admits to calling Will.I.Am a FAGGOT for standing up for Fergie, whom he's always putting down on his site. Perez who was on Larry KIng talking about GAY RIGHTS and how he's GAY ACTIVIST is called people insulting names like FAGGOT? Should've hit him harder. Dude doesn't have a scratch on him.

I tend to believe Perez, too. Since will.i.am's manager turned himself in, I tend to believe he truly did the assault and not some "random fan" like wil.i.am is saying. wil.i.am came across kind of gay in his video so I think it is funny he is mad that Perez called him a fa@@ot, but, being black myself, I know that in black culture, you have to keep any gay tendencies on the down low; being gay is just not accepted. wil.i.am needs to admit what he did, whether it was him or a member of his group.

Right or wrong, karma will come back on those who step upon others just to get a name for oneself. And really, this has become a world where instead of calling the police once an alleged crime has taken place, someone twitters to have someone to call them them to the scene? Lawyer called and police twittered? Lastly, to those who will dump BEP from their playlists because of the alleged physical assault but will continue to read & support Perez with his daily verbal assaults, think on that for a minute or two...people, even if celebrities, don't deserve any kind of assault...

It's the count down to see Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton push themselves on Larry King to weigh in on this. "Black artist trying to make good gets beat down and called radical name by gay blogger". Come on Jesse and Al, we haven't heard from you in a while, and you know how much you are in it to bring unity, right? It just isn't about you both being on TV, right? I know you can somehow turn this episode around and make it a racial issue. Say something clever like a black man being called the F word is as bad as the N word and violence was needed to shut the gay blogger up. Come on, just when Obama is making head way in showing how successful and intelligent a black man can be, we can always count on your stupid input to keep racism alive and well. Don't disappoint us!
