Paris Hilton: Susan Boyle Has Potential for Hotness
Susan Boyle may have conquered YouTube, along with almost every act on Britain's Got Talent, but the 48-year old singer has a long way to go.
At least in the attention-starved eyes of Paris Hilton.
"I think Susan has an amazing voice," Hilton told Extra when asked about the woman that's a billion times more popular than she is. "But she needs to work on the pose... I think she should come up with something new... since she's such a huge celebrity now... I suggest getting a stylist. She could look really hot if she just wore some pretty dresses."
Don't listen to her, SuBo! This rail thin sex tape star wouldn't know what "hot" was if it came up to her in a bedroom with a night-vision lens on the camera!
It's a pose-off! Whose do you like better: Paris Hilton or Susan Boyle?

Susan Boyle doesn't need to "do" anything IMO. She is who she is and we love her as a highly talented, special person. She sings like a nightingale and has won the hearts of people all over the world.

I can't wait for susan to get her album out but I have to agree that the shaking her body is not to her benefit. She needs to not change the part which we all love but to be taken seriously is growing up time. We love her voice and her she just needs a little polishing up and off she goes to stardum.

Paris Hilton is a celebrity...Susan Boyle is a STAR.
Susan does'nt have to show her body to get attention. Susan has talent and her voice is a balm. Right now Susan is more popular that Paris Hilton.

Paris Hilton is right - Susan needs new poses. The silly prancing and hip wiggling in front of the cameras (like the impromptu strip tease onstage after the finale) do nothing to encourage people to take Susan seriously. The BGT show already presented her as a figure of ridicule, in order to play up the "surprise" contrast of her ability to sing, a strategy for ratings that was exploitive and even cruel. (The emotional effect of that you-tube video clip was made possible by a very demeaning initial portrayal of Susan, when comical music played during her entrance and the judges rolled their eyes -- all of it staged by BGT, for maximum effect).
Her silly poses and dances in front of the camera undermine the more professional image Susan now has to work on to be taken seriously. Get some advising, Susan, and show us a new image that marks a clear change from the ridicule of that exploitive show. Your talent merits your dignity.
