Paris Hilton, Doug Reinhardt Shockingly Break Up

Doug Reinhardt and Paris Hilton had a great run. Who would have ever seen a breakup coming after six months and hundreds of nauseating PDAs?

In any case, despite the persistent engagement rumors (fostered by her, for attention) Paris and her boyfriend du jour have officially called it quits.

A rep for the ho-tel heiress confirmed the breakup, for which no reason has been given as of this posting, with the following statement today:

"In response to the inquiry on whether Paris Hilton has split up with Doug Reinhardt, yes, this is true, the couple are no longer together."

"They remain friends and ask that you please respect their privacy."

The pair had been together for six months, which is an eternity by her standards. Reinhardt's rep, who better start sending out resumes, had no comment.
