eh, NO. letterman was mean and nasty. this kind of low talk about sexuality and the culture is completely unacceptable....it is a tragedy how low talk has become today. anything is fair game and it shouldn't be. plus levi johnston is a not very bright young man who got sucked into the vortex of modern gossip. what a joke that the media keeps coming back to him, like he's some kind of sage.

I think Governor Palin's point was that in our culture, jokes such as this, are accepted, and shouldn't be. David Letterman should exercise more responsibility when choosing his schtick. Making fun of young women in a derogatory way should not be allowed. In order for that to e accomplished, men that do this should be admonished. Then, eventually, it won't be an acceptable practice.

Palin's supporters are stupid, shrill, rabid, attack chihuahuas just like she is. The minute someone says something they don't like about her, they freak out and start foaming at the mouth, just like her.

If Dave never meant to hurt anyone and he's just an equal opportunity jokester, why doesn't someone here provide an instance of Dave talking about knocking up Obama's kids? In fact, try finding anything that Dave has said negative about Obama's crew (though Biden is a gaff a minute and Obama can't say a non-teleprompter sentence without ten ummms and uhhhs)..
Fact is Dave is a pathetic suck up and pansy. Not so brave when it comes to making fun of Obamessiah, is he? We'll see how he feels about Obama in six months when the economy is still in the toilet and the younger generation figures out they've been stuck with the "stimulus" bill and didn't even get a crummy T-shirt. Ha, ha, the joke is on America.

"Mr. Littleman" who knocked up a gal and had a kid with out being married.... an old geezer on a younger women with out being married create a child with out being married. What a piece of bumbling work this dried up "HAS BEEN" is. Oh yes and for Mr. Johnston who parades his life and child around to make money - continues his circus act. How's his mom and her drug problem going?

He's absolutely right: Dave never meant to hurt anyone. He's a comedian for God's sake.
And yes, he does sound more reasonable than Sarah Palin.
So the more she attacks David Letterman, the less she appears to be fit for any form of national political office.
