you people are so stupid and so is the idiot that wrote this article. do you actually know that David Letterman never meant to hurt anybody? oh poor Dave! Lauging all the way to the bank. It's so obvious what he is doing. that was not a joke, it was an attack, and there is a big difference. Notice how defensive he gets when people ask him about his personal life? he is a mean old man. he can dish it but he can't take it. I can't stand him. he's not even funny. Never liked him, he's fake and it shows.

Cracks me up that Sarah P., psychopathically addicted to media attention, will glom onto and exaggerate ANYTHING to get her name in the news. The only thing she's good at is being nastily sarcastic when spinning reality to suit her own sad, sorry little purposes.

David is a comedian. Twisting his words and comments (that one of his writers wrote more than likely) is Palins problem. It was funny.. she provides much material for a comedian. I have a fourteen y/o daughter who is not pregnant nor sexually active and trust me if his comments were even slightly offensive I would be the first to go off. I am offended by most things on TV including Disney movies but in this instance the truth hurts for Palin. If it was John Edwards and his issue no one would complain. Oh but he at least admitted he was wrong. Palin sees nothing wrong with herself nor what her daughter did and that is OH SO WRONG!

No one has a sense of humor anymore. Conservatives were up in arms when racially tinged jokes were being made about Obama during the campaign and liberals got angry ("political correctness has gone too far",conservatives said). Yes. Letterman went over the line and should have issued a genuine apology. He did not. But, does this make him a hate monger? Does this make him a misogynist, a pedophile? or just a tasteless comedian? When Limbaugh shouts about "Obama the magic negro" he is not meaning it to be funny. Letterman just made a bad joke. Now, we make it worse by blowing it out of all proportion...comedians sometimes fail in their attempts at humor. But, are we not villifying comics? Let's fire Bill Maher because he made a similar crack on his show this week. Let's fire all comedians for being tactless. Let's just stop making jokes. Nothing is funny anymore, is it?
