High School Musical 4 Update: Title, Director Announced
With Twilight and its stars threatening to totally overtake High School Musical in the Tweeniverse, the Disney franchise came out today with a couple of tidbits regarding the fourth film in this franchise:
- Jeffrey Hornaday will direct High School Musical 4.
- It will be titled High School Musical: East Meets West.
“I’m excited to be part of a franchise that, thematically, encourages kids to believe in themselves," said Hornaday, who directed world tours for Madonna and the Backstreet Boys. "Like the first three movies, my goal is to keep the art form of the traditional musical alive, yet bring a contemporary emotional response to the story and its characters through song and dance.”
Reportedly, High School Musical 4, will center around a love triangle set against the cross-town school rivalry between the East High Wildcats and West High Knights.

high school musical.... i loved that...
in my town high school musical 4 has not been aired ...
wow .... I'd love to watch it ... how it goes ...
not in the 3rd episode they've graduated ??...

I think its so messed upthat they will not have troy and gabriella. Thats what high school musical was about. Their love and singing and their passions. If troy and gabriella are not going to be in HSM4 then , i would recommend NOT to make the 4th movie. You will get many complaints and disappointments from all HSM fans.

I think that hsm4 will not be the same without the same characters and is doing nothiung but wasting time. U should make a hsm class reunion with all the same characters. I have all the movies and books but if the same cast isn't in hsm 4 I will not waste my time!!!!!!

i'd say t be ohe cast shoudle be there tisdale and golds should be on hsm 4 and i dont like look of the new cast it just wont be the same without them no reeally it just donnt sime right

In the New Muiscal will the Cast, Return to East High from College to see East Vs West basketball game or will they return to their College in one piece and will Troy Face Chad in a College basketball game or will they previal back to School again to rejoin the team and Will Sharpay outrun Tiara Gold or will Tiara overturn on the Charm of Sharpay of the School
