It was a joke, people. The best ones are usually slightly in bad taste. I took it more towards the NY governor anyway. No one would have thought anything about it if Palin hadn't freaked out. The reson I feel sorry for that girl is that she has such a moron for a mother.

Dave has ceased to garner laughs for at least 10 years now, so i dont buy his excuse that it was humor in "bad taste". as well, the Palin who was at the game was the 14 year old, and its right to point out what sick humor and twisted login Dave is using.

GIVE ME A BREAK!! yea he has done this for years! He used to be funny 20 plus years ago! But there is ABSOLUTELY nothing funny in his comments about Gov. Sarah Palin & her family! The mans a perverted sickOOOOO! and if you see any comedy in his remarks then you are as perverted as he is!!LISA!!!

Give me a break - Dave's right - he's done this for years and no one cared. The Palins have some deep issues. They should be ashamed for bringing 50 times more press to the comments and actually using the words "raped my 14-yr-old daughter" in public statements. Something's seriously not right there with that family.

Dave is really talking about his own son and now wife since he wasn't married when Harry was born. Will not watch Dave anymore. Bristol did make a mistake however she is trying to do the right thing and in the process help other teenager mothers. Shame on you, Dave!

Now that there's actually a funny alternative in the same time slot, perhaps it's time to check out Conan. I used to follow Letterman since his days on NBC, but now he's just turning into an obvious perverted partisan hack. Would Dave want anyone making such comments about his family? I'm fed up with the cheap shots below the belt. Goodbye Dave.

I am totally blown away by the mainstream media, (you in cluded), that says Dave apologized at all, really excused and obfuscated and you saying:"what he meant was..." Cheap shot Dave...slutty, knocked up?...and all you can say to the Palins is: "chill the eff out a little..." Man would love to see how you would take a cople of verbal vulgar swings from Dave and just: chill the eff out a little...
