Plenty of stars can throw out the first pitch at a Dodgers game, but to actually suit up and play a full game is another story. Carrie Underwood did the latter at the 19th Celebrity Softball Challenge at Nashville's Greer Stadium on Wednesday.
The singer (who played for the Grand Ole Opry team) got in the swing of things (har har) with other country stars like Vince Gill and Montgomery Gentry, and looks like she's ready to go all "Before He Cheats" on a pitch in the photo below.

Emotions ran high at the softball game, but all in the name of a good cause. Carrie and others helped raise funds for the cancer research charity City of Hope.
Always nice to see one of our favorite celebs in action, be it on the field or on stage belting out hits of a different sort. How lucky is Mike Fisher to get to round the bases with this girl? Sorry, no more baseball double entendre, we promise.

Carrie is beautiful inside and out. She does a lot of charity work that is not mentioned. She has accomplished a lot in the short time she has been in the spotlight and still remains the sweet "ALL AMERICAN GIRL" next door. Her third album will be out in November--CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!
