The war of words between the controversial and recently dispatched Miss California, Carrie Prejean, and the organization is becoming a game of legal chicken.
No one's showing signs of blinking, either.
The latest drama? The 22-year-old says she is gonna give the Miss California USA officials one last chance to clear her name - or she's gonna sue them.
In a letter Prejean's attorney just fired off to the lawyer representing the Miss California pageant honcho Keith Lewis, the attorney says Lewis defamed Carrie by making the embattled beauty queen seem uncooperative and difficult to deal with.
The letter also accused Lewis of using Carrie to push a gay agenda. He did not address Donald Trump's observation that Carrie treated people like $h!t.
The best part? Carrie's Prejean's lawyer says Keith Lewis had no right to release the 22-year-old's "confidential medical information" - i.e. her boob job.
The letter claims that Carrie has suffered "severe emotional distress" as a result of her treatment by the pageant association and its officials.
If Lewis doesn't recant his comments, Carrie's lawyer promises he will file suit.
The pageant's lawyers have threatened to sue back if she doesn't back off.

Good for her! She should sue them considering how they have treated her, by completely slandering and mistreating her. Can you imagine if she'd been an employee treated like this by her employers?! That's why there are unions. To keep egotistical employers with personal agendas from destroying employee's careers and/or reputations, which is not that hard to do. She wasn't an employee, but Lewis definitely abused his "power" and it's so obvious he "set her up." No doubt Moakler and him were plotting and scheming behind the scenes. There was NO WAY they were going to just sit by and witness her not getting fired and being allowed to have her opinion on marriage. They wanted her to be fired, to change her opinion, and to be bullied by the gays and activists. It's infuriated them that she wouldn't do that. She'll have a good case on her hands if she sues, and I hope she does. Lewis, Perez Hilton, Moakler should not be able to get away with their infintile behavior and the way they have slandered this girl.

I wonder if Keith Lewis offered Carrie any appearance dealing with Christian Values???
According to Carrie's lawyer Keith Lewis is an openly gay man that produced a short movie in 2007 called "For the Bible Tells Me So." It advocates same sex marriage. So how is it not a conflict of interests when Keith Lewis, an openly gay man and gay activist brings his political agenda into the pageant by trying to force Carrie to attend gay events like the opening of that new movie with the gay marriage theme. Carrie requested security if she had to appear at a gay event…. wonder why??? Keith Lewis made a mockery of it and while trying to prevent her from setting up the appearance at the Special Olympics suggested that maybe she needed security for the event.
These are the methods of a vengeful agenda driven two-bit manager trying to force an employee to resign or be fired. And Lewis is definitely two-bit.
Is Donald Trump really that blind. Is he being hand fed garbage by Lewis or is there some other connection between Trump and his business associate Perez Hilton that is driving this????

I agree with Justice for Carrie...this was a total set up for Carrie to fail. Shanna Moekler quitting the day after Trump let her keep the crown was too obvious that these gay folks hate Carrie. They wanted her out.
I hope this young woman sues the pants off these pigs.
I know that she will win $$$millions$$$ if she does. I hope she doesn't back down. I pray that she has a good lawyer.
Chuck Limandri is well known in San Diego. He should win this case. If he does...he can retire.
It will be interesting to watch.
I'm supporting Carrie 100%.

Heeheeehee. Carrie is going to get her ass whipped in court. She has not got enough brains to know when to bow out gracefully before the tigers tear her apart. Just like God told Carrie Prejean to say what she did in the Miss USA contest, God told me that if Carrie Prejean goes to court against the Miss USA contest, she is going to be viciously torn apart and spit into the fire.

So where's the lawsuit? There was no apology and, in fact, officials continued to insist she lost her job for numerous good reasons. They aren't backing down. Looks like Carrie is. I guess Carrie (or her lawyer) found their bluff was called.

I cannot help but wonder will Carrie ever grow up and accept the fact she lost not because of the question that was asked.
Miss North Carolina had already won the swimsuit and evening grown events.
All I can say is I am so glad Carrie is not Miss USA nor even Miss California....
