Will Ferrell made his way down the red carpet at the premiere of Land of the Lost. The film, which is set to debut in America on June 5, opened to Australian audiences this week.
The movie is a remake of an old TV show. It follows Dr. Frank Marshall (Ferrell) as he navigates around an uncharted land that involves dinosaurs. The cast also includes Anna Friel and Danny McBride.
The movie looks like it is going to be a pretty typical Ferrell vehicle. The trailers have their funny moments, as well as the cheesy jokes that come along with any comedy from this star.
While we aren't expecting another Anchorman, we are just hoping that we don't have another Semi-Pro on our hands.

This one is directed at the writer of this article...
How dare you, Speidi Stomper, discard Semi-Pro like a used box of herpes laden condoms. Jackie Moon is one of my hero's, with his afro and sweatbands he reminds me of a handsome Richard Simmons minus 37 lbs and 42 years of gayness. Honestly, how many of you out there can say you didn't contemplate wearing a Jackie Moon costume for holloween the year the movie came out?
Furthermore, Anchorman's only truly comedic light was Paul Rudd's character and Sex Panther...so I think your analogy was rather quite sophmoric to say the least.
I'm sorry I got off topic...in my opinion Will Ferrell's greatest role was in Old School (even if he was only a supporting cast member). Somebody please tell me I'm wrong...no seriously tell me I'm wrong!
I believe this movie is going to have mediocre results, the only question that remains is why is it being released in Australia...aka an island riddled with the genetic pass-ons of syphillis ridden prisoners...before it's being released in the Big Apple?
