If Kris wins, he will just disappear after a while. He has talent, but just for ballads. One can take just so many of those. He can get boring. Adam, on the other hand has it all. You never know what he'll do; he keeps you guessing. And to listen to his voice, with the different ranges he has..I can listen to him sing the same songs over & over again & marvel at his range. He deserves the title of American Idol, for he truly is one. Vote for Adam.

I can't believe this article ... let me see: ADAM has been the most dynamic of this (or any other season) but YOU'VE decided that he shouldn't win because Kris is a lesser talent so needs the publicity more. This is ridiculous! ADAM has been consistently the superior performer week after week and that's why ADAM has earned the IDOL crown. All ADAM fans need to VOTE, VOTE, VOTE to combat idiotic opinions like this.

Just because Kris Allen needs it more, doesn't mean he deserves it more!! Adam Lambert has worked his gorgeous butt off to be where he is. I'm 54 years old and like country music best buy I Love him and his singing is flawless and creative. Kris can't hold a candle next to him. Vote for the singing not because you think gay people should be punished for having that choice in life. If he is gay so what. He's still hot. Singing is the game . Stop being so prejudice. I agree Kris should win because this perverted gay man will do record deals without the vote. Kris is what Americans should be voting for. People should pray to save the soul of this Adam kid. The fact that he even has a Christian name is wrong. He should be called the Demon Prince for life and those who want to beat the gayness out of him should line up. No one should listen to the filth he tongues out of his mouth. Role model? It made me sick to see him go back to the music school and mentor to those kids who want to grow up to be artist. Okay so this has now turned into a "who should win because they need it" versus "who should win because they can sing and deserve it" competition. I think not.
Adam has worked hard for years to get where he is at and is totally deserving of the win. He is a unique, original and creative artist. Adam is a true performer and is a Star destined to become a Legend. Not because he should be such, but because he is so talented and has worked for it, earned it and deserves it!
Adam is a true professional in every sense of the word and has shown the world how talented he is. He is humble, gracious, respectful, mannerly, thanks everyone and is a genuninly nice man.
He doesn't ask for pity, sympathy or anything along those lnes to garner votes. He gives us his all every week and then some using his beautifully honed talent to win votes.
I can't think of anyone more deserving to win the title of American Idol in all 8 seasons than Adam Lambert!

Adam has worked just as hard as Kris to get to where he is at in the show. It's because of his talent that he is praised so much. It's not Adam's fault he is pimped so much. *sarcasm*But yeah let's give the crown to Kris based on pity or to spite the producers! *sarcasm* I don't think Kris would want to win for that. It's not honest and isn't based on his talent.
There is only one champion just like in all other seasons. David Cook won and David Archuleta runner up yet they treated them like they both won for the longest time. So there is some consolation to Kris being runner up. Hopefully the posters on here aren't sheep and follow your shallow lead. Hopefully they are strong minded base their vote on talent and SINGING (it is a singing competition...Adam's vocals are on par with Kelly Clarkson), basically the whole package and not on PITY. I don't think KRIS wants PITY or his friend ADAM to be CHEATED.

Do we really need another Mraz or John Mayer?
Yeah, Kris is good and he has such a nice personality. But shouldn't there be some DISTINCT talent and finesse that should go along with the winner of American Idol??
Kris does very very well in one style of music: easy-listening. Adam, on the other hand, proved time and time again that he can master ANY style of music. His voice and performing abilities are just so versatile!!
I feel for Kris, I really do. He hasn't had a lot of support from the producers and that's not fair. But in this case, I will go along with the producers, judges, media, that Adam is ridiculously talented and deserving of the crown!

Adam should not be blamed for comments that any of the judges have bestowed upon him, or any special treatment the producers have given him. He had nothing to do with it. Voting for Kris simply because you happen to reside in the same state is ridiculous. People should vote for who they think is the most talented. How I wish Kris could be made to sing the same songs Adam has. The comparison between the two are like night and day. Kris seems like a nice guy, but is boring to watch and has a weak voice imo.

its outrageous to suggest that the winner should be the person who needs it more for his career (tho this seems to be the way america thinks -- vote for the underdog etc). i believe it will seriously undermine both the credibility and the fundamental premise of american idol when/if adam does not will. his talent is unsurpassed this season -- or any to my mind when u include things like the wow factor, his versatility, his showmanship -- along side that awesome voice (and yet, people don't like that he has to open his mouth to hit those notes!). i think kris will win and that's sad for the show, for what it says about the conservative tastes of the american public -- and bec even tho we love the underdog in america, we also love competition. and adam lambert has been the out of the box grand slam hitter this season -- whether u can stand the eye liner or not. what a star he is.

Adam Lambert is a once in a generation talent, but Kris Allen will win AI. The Arkansas power voting block and the tide of hatred and anti gay votes against Adam is to big to overcome. No matter - I for one can't wait to get Adam off this stupid Taylor Hicks winning show and into the fans of his worldwide fans for the rest of his amazing career.

Don't be so ****ing ridiculous. Vote on merit only, and in this case that encompasses the best singer, the best stage presence, the best popular appeal, the most talented in all musical aspects. Adam Lambert is ROck God. Eventhough i know that he has a small chance of winning because of kris' votes. He'll still be a very good artist. Because he could interpret songs that not all artists are capable of. And he is very unique, i mean not all of the artists in the music industry these days can sing incredibly high notes and still make it sound so good. He may not win American Idol, but i'm sure he's also gonna be a legend someday. He's gonna be one of the American Idol artists who turned points in the music industry. As for Kris, i've also been a fan, but since he's competing againsts Adam. well. Adam Lambert it is.

This article contradicts itself. Once paragraph says that Allen needs the AI crown because it's not as likely that he would be as successful without it. The next paragraph says that even without the title, he could have a Jason Mraz, John Mayer type career.
Face it, regardless of who wins, both Lambert and Allen will have successful careers. Personally, I will be voting like mad for Kris next week, not because I think he needs the title more, but simply because I have connected most to his performances all season and adore his style.
