This has nothing to do with her views on marriage.
Aside from the obvious (she broke the rules), she's not exactly the squeaky clean role model that she's supposed to be. Breast implants and racy photos (and potentially all nude ones) are not what "Miss Florida" should be representing.
With all this aside, the whole pageant thing is a fucking joke to begin with. I'll never understand the people who follow that crap, to be honest. All those fat southern state moms who throw their poor little kids into these pageants, slapping all that makeup and shit on them - of course they're going to lead into this! Breast implants and topless photos. Come on.

yet another attempt by the gay and lesbian community to exert their will upon the majority. This woman is the absolute epitomy of class, without exception. She posed for photos that were tastefully done like just about every other model in history. She professes her Christian faith and stands PUBLICLY by her belief that marriage is between a man and a woman. just like the majority of the voters here in California. Let's be honest, ...they don't want to strip her of the title because she posed for a few pictures with her shirt off and her back to the camera (with her arms crossed), ...they want to strip her because she stands for something the gays and lesbians are vehemently against. I think she should be praised for her defense of freedom of speech; let's not forget that the First Ammendment has a blade that cuts both ways. She's gained my respect and admiration.

Huh? this wouldn't even be an issue if she had said yes, to gay marriages! that is why. the liberal media needs to move on.

If she had praised Gay marriage or was a follower of the Koran, I don't think these stories would be circulating about her right now. Funny that whoever had possession of these photos didn't think this was pertinent information right after she won the Miss CA title. But suddenly, since she gave her opinion on a controversial issue, they are now worried that she is breaking the rules???

Why does everyone get so upset, on both sides, about gay marriage? This article/question has NOTHING to do with that.
She's a beauty queen that broke a rule, which is something others in her position have done before, such as Vanessa Williams. The question focuses solely on her topless pic, not her beliefs. Everyone has to calm down and actually read what the article says.

Go back to the closet if this is the kind of attitude you're going to show to people that have their OWN beliefs. Her opinion vs. your direct attacks speak for itself.

Keep up the great promotion of tolerance and individuality. You commenting agains someone's right to have her own opinion is immature and classless.

Just goes to show what will happen to you if you say ANYTHING against the homosexual. In the past the homosexual has tried to claim that they were victums. Who is the victum now? I also believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman, after all look at what it produces....more people. Same sex marriages do not produce children, just people who display bratty behavior like little children because they can't have their way. Men were made to be men and women were made to be women for a reason. We need to keep this poison out of America.

You guys are a@#holes...she gave her opinion about gay marriage and because she didn't agree with Perez Hilton, she's public enemy no. 1? I think anyone should be allowed to marry, but the idea that anyone that doesn't agree should be ruined is idiotic!
