Adam Lambert fans have to realize that this is the best thing that could have happened for Adam. He made it to the finale, showcased all of his talents and exposed himself. Now, like Daughtry, he can choose his own band members, choose his own producer and make the kind of album he wants to make. Everyone knows Adam is the best singer, performer & entertainer that AI has ever seen. Even Kris Allen said that Adam deserved to win. Thankfully he did not. I'll be second in line to buy his first CD, right behind Kris Allen. lol

to all glamberts, this will not be the last you see adam. he is great (even though i voted for kris) and can make it very far. stop the kris bashing because it wont change anything. his fans stayed loyal to him and voted their fingers off and thats why he won.
on the bright side, that stupid song kara wrote wont be on adam's cd

Time to start the healing process to just "get over it", and start planning your pity party.
Kris did not win because of "Bigots and Haters". Kris won because the majority of America liked Kris more. Period.
They thought he sang well and relied on his musical talents of playing the guitar and piano, instead of Adam relying on playing the audience.
No conspiracy, no cheating, Kris won "Fair and Square."

Well....I think that all of you people who are making lame excusses for why Adam lost are retarded....Kris Allen deserved this and I'm very glad he won..Yes I am from arkansas..and will soon be going to college where kris attends...so i am a kris allen fan..but you people are truly ridiculous..There is no excuss for adam's loss...America voted...and they loved kris...not some eyeliner wearing dude...sorry..thats just the way it is...Im not downing adam..because adam..has a beautiful voice..but i don't think he is as talented as Kris....Kris is multitalented..he can play several instruments and sing...not many people have mastered both...I've heard..well kris only one because he's a "christian" well...thats what america needs...a CHRISTIAN role model....this country is so corrupt with negativity and people that don't think that there is a God..America needs more christian role models...Yes..I understnad that it was a huge upset....but it can't be that big of an upset..seeing as most of america must have voted Kris to win...5 min before results..all of you "Adam" fans were sitting around saying "OMG adam is going to win...and if he doesn't I'll die" guess what..ADAM LOST..and you are all still alive..the world will go on....Both of these amazing guys will end up making it big time in the end...so who cares who won idol...but I do think it's great that Kris won..the underdog..the dark horse....The guy From Arkansas....the average joe who happens to have an amazing voice and doesn't need crazy clothes, hair, black nail polish and eyeliner to stand out....I also read where someone said..Idol should limit the amount of votes they take in...See that would be unfair..because then that wouldn't be the American's deciding...that would only be a select group of people deciding...almost 100million votes were put in...thats alot of americans...I'm just sick of reading..well...adam....this or adam that....adam was always too good for idol..when you know that if he would have won..you all would have been like OMG YAY ADAM YOU DESERVE THIS YOU ARE GOING TO GO SO FAR....but now that he has lost...you have done a complete 360 on the situation..either way..adam and kris are both talented respectable men...and in the end...everything will be fine..so stop bashing kris..makin lame excusses for adam..and stop bashing american idol..its ridiculous

[to those that have posted - that this applies to *grins*] It always amazes me how people can't seem to voice their opinions/opposing views, defend their stances on certain subjects, etc... WITHOUT bashing/insulting...others that are posting and just doing the same thing. I supported ADAM to win, I thought he WOULD win, and I wish he HAD won...and I wish him the best in all he future endeavors. He's talented, creative, humble, and not afraid to be himself ~ the sky is the limit to him.

I'm going to be honest with ya'll, I voted for chris because I would not be able to stand the fact of Adam winning. I do not believe in his "lifestyle". We actually here in Alabama got our whole town to vote for chris and I even personally walked door to door to tell my neighbors to vote for him. All I have to say is if Adam chose the right moral "lifestyle" than maybe he would have had my vote.

Adam rocks, and he was TOTALLY jipped! I've read a lot of you sayin he lost because he is gay and wear makeup! Who the hell cares! It's a "singing" contest! It shouldn't matter if you are gay or straight, wholesome Christian or not! It's "supposed" to be about talent! Adam should have won, but all them biggots out there had to jump on the bandwagon to keep him from winning! It's sick that you people are so judgemental! If he werent' gay n wore makeup, you would all be singing his praises and he would of won, but no, you all have to judge him harshly! You people make me sick! I can't wait to watch Adam prosper on the charts while Kris falters and disappears in the shadows! America screwed up big time!

Like any type of art,i.e. music, painting or writing, everyone has their own likes and motivations. I voted for the person who allowed me the most emotional response and that was Matt originally and after he left it was Kris. I have nothing against Adam...he reminds me of the big hair band singers from the 80's when I was a tween. I found him entertaining, but, for me, there was no emotional response. His performances just felt more staged to me and more like a theatrical performance. For some people the theatrical quality is what they need to feel that emotional response. Unfortunately(or perhaps fortunately)for Adam, the majority made the emotional connection via the subtler artist. But...I have to admit...if Adam ever does Broadway I am catching the first train into the city:)

Wow.....that is so very sad. Adam is amazing and who cares what his lifestyle is, I sure don't. Kris won because "He is just sooooo dang cute and a good ole christian boy!" and the little 12 year olds that sat up and voted all night long don't base their vote on talent, they voted on who would make the better boy band member. Kris got all of Gokey's votes as well because heaven forbid we get an american idol that is a non christian, wacky hair,crazy clothes wearing, eyeliner gay guy! Oh no.....The world would be coming to and end.....Please! Adam will be the bigger star, no question.

Well the suprise was spoiled for me, im deployed and we see AI a day late then America does. I was informed by a co-worker "who didn't mean to find out" that Kris won and I was so happy because i supported him. Both Adam and Kris are very talented and both deserved to be in the top 2. Adam is an awesome singer but as far as talent goes, Kris has him beat. Adam is only a singer, Kris is a singer and plays the Piano and Guitar. Kris really deserved it because he worked so hard and stayed humble the whole way through. I didn't even know Kris was a Christian and if i did, that wouldn't be the reason why i supported him, i like his style. America chose right.
Oh yeah, all this Kris bashing needs to end, its just childish. Kris did nothing to anyone but only tryed to win Americas heart.

honestly, Adam has a great voice. He's got a very dramatic range and quality of voice. And i like that, but only that! But what bothers me is why i don't feel anything when he performs. I don't get excited. Never at all. But i realized the reason why. He's got this very overbearing confidence that distracts me everytime he performs. It distracts me from totally admiring his whole package. I mean, Queen, Kiss, Steven Tyler or Michael Jackson, they're super great talents and performers, but they are never a show off when they're onstage! It bugs me everytime when Adam overdo the high notes! It's just not nice to hear. It's just like he's showing off, can you do that! But Kris, is so cool, so fresh, so current/mainstream, so pop, so adorable, so humble he's got the guitar and piano skills! I like the way he looks, so fresh and young!

Another thing is that Adam has been getting so much attention from everywhere and Kris was always left backstage, yet Kris remained humble and was suprised that he won. If Adam would have won, would people still be bashing Kris? I doubt it, i think they will say "Kris is a great singer but Adam deserved the win". I felt that Kris connected more with America much more that Adams glass shattering screams. Adam is a better performer but Kris has more talent. Thus Kris deserved the spot light.

I loved Adam from day one, knew he was going to win. I was getting sick of him getting all the glory tho especially from Simon and Chris couldn't do anything right. When Adam sang it's a mad world i knew he had it won, then he started screeching every song and my heart belonged to Chris who sang his songs.

I think screeching was his signature move because it makes your hair stand on end and make you feel like "WHOA, that dude can blow". I was amazed at first and then got tired of it.
