Why is it so hard to accept that out of 100 million who voted, most of them went for Kris? Because the judges have been shoving down our throats that Adam will win, even the finale was staged for Adam. But the close to a million voters were listening with their ears, heart and soul.
Have you Adam fans read about the comments of Jamie Foxx, Quentin Tarantino, Melinda Doolittle, Chris Daughtry, David Archuleta, and even Ellen about Kris Allen and how amazing he is? I guess not because you'd rather think that Kris got Christian or tween votes.
I'm a 40-year-old mom, and my mom who's 65 and my daughter who is 10 love how Kris renders his songs. He always sings it with his heart and soul (not just tonsils). And he is so humble. Up to the last minute, he showed how unassuming he is, mentioning that Adam deserved the title. Oh Kris, when will you realize that you are such a wonderful artist? I hope never but still keep on singing and making his own songs.
Will Kris Allen sell records? Of course he will. Close to 100 million Americans voted, even if only 1/3 of them buy his album he will still be selling A LOT! I'm sure Adam will too, and Gokey because they are both amazing talents.
Kris Allen is the winner, not just in American Idol but in the hearts of millions of people, including us and we're not even Christians.

I am so tired of the poor Adam Lambert pity party! That screaming demon shit went away about 15 years ago. And besides Chris is more versatile. Just because he doesn't hideously yell and carry on doesn't mean he cannot sing. He has relaxing music that makes you feel good. Adam Lambert can go sit on the stiff one that is waiting for him. Kris Rules!

Both individuals were talented, I think it turned out the way that it should have. Chris will need more help moving forward, it will help him to have American Idol produce his first Album. Adam already have most of the hottest in the music industry lining up to work with him. Pop, Rock, Alternative, a lot of artist and producers are already clammering to work with him so he will be free to pick and choose who he works with once this Idol tour is over, he will definitely do some Broadway which is certainly not a bad thing and probably even some acting. Chris is going to be a good Pop star along the lines of the Jonas Brothers, but Adam will become an International Star and that would have been a problem with the Idol title he is less limited. Good luck to both, people stop the hate both of these young men will do great, this was certainly one of the best seasons.

Well, well, well it's easy to tell that the VOTERS for AI have no idea how to judge talent. Kris had his moments, but he struggled up to the end to pull things through. Adam had EVERY moment and made it look effortless. He was never "mad pitchy dog" and delivered the cleanest vocals and most relevant showmanship. That is what should determine the winner. Not a popularity contest about religion or "all american good looks. But I agree with the other comments that Adam will get the freedom he needs to soar onto the charts, while Kris will be hamstrung by the AI control freaks. This was my 1st year watching and after that result, it may be the last. Looking forward to seeing what Adam does with his career.

I know this might come as a surprise to people who live a life of sin, but most of America still loves and cherishes God. Rock and roll is fun in doses but let's not celebrate deviance and Broadway.
That's why ADam didn't win. He's not a role model for our kids, he wears makeup and nailpolish and he's gay. DUH. America doesn't support this!

And have the top 3 in the finals and have the JUDGES be 50 percent. Everyone bashing Kris is just ignorant. If Adam didn't win American Idol because he's gay and people are apparently prejudice, how the hell did he make it so far in the competition? As far as I'm concerned, if Americans are such homophones, they would have never allowed Adam to make it this far.
Kris said that Adam deserved to win because Kris is humble; he has been humble from the very start. I just think it's sad that everyone is pissed about Kris winning and Adam losing. Are you people so stupid to not realize that winning AI doesn't mean anything? It's about what you choose to do with yourself AFTER the competition that will make or break you as an artist. Plenty of artists have lost on AI and yet, have become one of the highest chart topping artists.
Stop being so bitter. America voted and Kris won. You have no one to blame but yourselves. If you wanted Adam to win so bad, you should have not assumed he would take the title -- you should have been at your phones, voting incessantly.
And, as for people saying Kris only won because of teenage girls? Please, give me a break. Last time I checked, Adam was just as hot as Kris and just as many teenage girls thought he was hot. The funny thing is, do you think either Adam or Kris give a shit about you? Why are you wasting your time crying over who won? Both are going to be millionaires after the show, so I doubt either of them really give a damn who won.

Adam (Im gay and proud) Lambert is my favorite and most amazing singer I have ever seen in my life. I voted for him, I love him as an artist and feel he is a polite, proud, humble and beautifly emotional artist.

In all previous seasons (except for maybe Chris Daughtry's and Bo Bice's performances) I have *NEVER*, week after a week, looked forward to seeing someone perform and what "uniqueness" they were going to add to a song/performance ~ LIKE I DID WITH ADAM. He was CONSISTANTLY the best performer. Looking past his goth/rock/Thunderdome outfits, glittered eyes, black fingernail polish, heavy eyeliner, and mod hairdo...he was the best "American Idol" offered this season and he DESERVED to be crowned the winner. I WILL *FOREVER* FEEL HE GOT GYPPED!!

Let me tell you that im very happy that Kris won, because for me he is a true artist.
Adam is very good at acting and in broadway. He makes a good show.
But when it comes to singing in a radio and making an album Kris Allen is the best!

people seem to forget that amerian idol is the peoples choice, i am so sick of insults at kris, i am 48 and i enjoyed watching him every week, to me adam;s music wont be appreciated as much as kris allen's song, he will be the more popular talent that all tastes in music needs. adams type of music you can only take so much of. and i hated the way the judges made kris feel that he did not deserve to win, for he definitely did
