Kris Allen is "Heartless," Incredible
by Hilton Hater at .Wow.
We'll publish a detailed recap of the final three performance show on American Idol tomorrow, but we couldn't wait another second to shower praise on one of tonight's performances.
And it wasn't given by Adam Lambert for a change!
Kris Allen delivered the goods - and then some! - with an acoustic rendition of "Heartless." Sorry, Gokeheads. But next week's finale has to come down to Allen vs. Lambert.
Watch Allen's rendition of "Heartless" below and share your thoughts in the Comments section:

AAAAA likeeeeeeeeeee himmmmm he is so goooooogd where are your records? and i have to say i'm merry wow!!!!!
I don't get it. I'm not wowed by Heartless or any song Kris has performed to date. He leaves me cold. Adam is a brilliant performer, but his falsetto irritates. Danny was my favorite. I found his voice to be authentic, heartfelt, and gravelly. The judges pushed Adam, reviewing every performance as stellar. Let's be real. For that reason, I was glad Kris won. But Danny is my American Idol.
I LOVE KRIS ALLEN IM SERIOUSLY LIKE IN LOVE WITH HIM I LOVE HIS VOICE I COULD LISTEN TO IT ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT HE PLAYS SICK GUITER AND HE EVEN SANG MY FAVORITE SONG "HEARTLESS" HE WAS AWSOME I HOPE HE WIN SO EVERYONE VOTE FOR KRIS ALLEN. I AM LOVE YOU "KRIS ALLEN" YOUR THE NEXT AMERICAN IDOL!!!! OH I LIKE ADAM TO!!! GO KRIS!!!
The Fray - Heartless (Cover) is better!
You failed to mention that Kris' covered The Fray's version of Heartless. It was nice but the artist credit is going to the wrong person. I like Kris but I am disappointed that once again he is not crediting the source of his arrangement. Adam has gone out of his way to credit inspirations for his performance. For example, he specifically called he "Feeling Good" the Muse Version. As far as I can tell Kris has one brilliant original arrangement, "Ain't No Sunshine", but I am less sure now that it is original. I have been told that the version he played has been around the mid-South for years.
