Earlier this month, Ida Ljungqvist succeeded Jayde Nicole as Playboy's Playmate of the Year. But the reign of the first African woman to hold the coveted honor - her father is Swedish and her mother Tanzanian - is embroiled in controversy.
As we first reported back on May 3, Ida Ljungqvist and Joshua R. Lang are still legally married, but are involved in a bitter divorce as we speak. She is also rumored to have engaged in sexual activity for money in the past.
How much of this is true, and how much is rumor? Will any of her extensive baggage threaten to dethrone Ljungqvist as Playboy's Playmate of the Year?
That's unclear, but The Hollywood Gossip has obtained court documents, as well as an interview with Joshua Lang, that paint quite a picture of the model.
The two met in June 2003 and married on December 7, 2008. Soon after, Lang filed for divorce from Ida Ljungqvist, not vice versa as some reports state.
And, in a bombshell, Lang claims his wife "destroyed two marriages" by having an affair with a married Ohio man, Doug E. Kantner, who has kids ages 2 and 6.

"She needs to walk the walk," her estranged husband said. "She claims that she's a real Christian woman, but she has to work on her sins and admit everything she did. She's been lying to herself, the media and everyone. It's pretty sad."

I actually know the soon to be ex wife of Doug Kantner. She's an amazing woman who works hard to support herself and her beautiful daughters which are actually 4 and 6. Other than the ages of the girls in this article, everything is true!! Sadly, Ida isnt the only one who is messed up Doug is not exactly father or the year. I can tell you first hand how little he see's his children and how hard his "wife" works to keep their children healthy and happy. Doug has been suckered in by Ida as he choses to support her and her lifestyle instead of his own childrens. I really do not have many words to say about Ida, other t

Last I heard America was a place where people have the freedom to worship as they choose... and a place where people are innocent until proven guilty. How can you people judge Ida by the lies strangers post on the internet? What if it happened to you? How would you like it? God is forgiving.
