Ok, why didn't he have any ID on him?like a drivers licence
or hospital ID? Don't they usually look for a wallet or something after the patient gets into the ER?
Why can't McDreamy and Ellen get it right and get married once and for all? They could have had a double wedding the day Lizzy got married!DRAMA

OMG!!!! I always cry in every episode and this was no exception. I dont want both of the characyers to go anywere. Personally. I love O'Malley, he is cute, funny and he has heart, unlike Karev. He is one of the best charecters in the series. And Izzie, well It wouldnt be right without her either, she is like the glue that keeps everyone together and sees the best in people, no one could replace her. Please they both need to come back next season, I honestly think I would stop watching if they dont. Why do I have to wait for the fall season..............NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Wow. Season 5 at first was very weird for me, and I was about to quit the show, but then the episode in which it was revealed the Izzy had cancer totally brought me back.
and then this! Wow. the ending was fantastic.
I thought NOTHING could top the season 2 episode for drama, and I seriously thought they fired all the good writers or something, but even now, a couple hours after watching it, I'm still pretty upset. It was a very emotionally violent episode. 5 stars!

I still can't believe that George did that. I cried my eyes out when George told Meridith it was him. OO7. It took them long enough. How would they not notice that he was not there even though he was suppose to be in surgery they still should have know and do not like the fact that they left us hangin without knowing if George or Izzie were going to live. The elevetor part at the end was the saddest part of them all.

I still can't believe what happened to George! It is pathetic how much I cried hahah, I hope they bring George back!
Meredith's reaction just broke my heart even more!
I can't believe the season ended like this! Can't they all just be happy? Ever??

I think it was the fact that his face was so destroyed that it was just completely unrecongizable. Even if he did get an army style haircut, it would have been not noticed under all theblood and gore ........
So sad :( The way George told merdith that is was him really touched me...
Also Ioved the post it note wedding because it showed that a wedding doesn't have to be big or grand.....you just have to be happy and that's all that really matters; though it is very dissapointing that merideth and derek didn't get married

007 was wayyy back when they were interns. 007 was a nickname that they gave to the first intern to kill someone, or more then one person, and that happened to be George. I love George, but they have been writing George off all season. The last few episodes they have been giving him storylines and cameos, but ALL season he's had barely anything. They attempted to make a clean break, but then make you miss him at the end. He's gone, I'm positive. But now, seeing the episode, I don't want him to go... I'll miss him a lot.
Izzy I need to stay. Many people voice their dislike for our girl Katherine Heigl, but I think she is a talented actress and Izzy's bubbly personality is necessary for the show to go on. I want both to stay if possible, but most likely George is gone, and Izzy stays. T.R. Knight (George) mentioned how he wanted off the show, and so did Katherine (Izzy), but she took it back and has been doing some MAJOR groveling for the writers, so chances are, shes going to stay, and

It was referenced in a previous show, when George was titled with the nickname 007, meaning license to kill.

@pdb - yes, it is a reference. very early on, George was nicknamed 007 by the other interns, because he has a "license to kill." get it?

Why oh why did the 007 reference make Meridith know it was
George? Was it referenced to a previous show? Was it just the easiest thing to write? All of my friends are stumped!

Issie is gone but TR Knight's character, George O'Malley can still continue with a new actor because George's face was damaged beyond recognition. It's time for a few happy endings or single season spin-offs to unwind some of the complex characters.
